{Chapter 16}

|Ruby's POV|

"My lady?" Dane looked at me. I got out of my trance. "Are you alright?" He asked. "I-I'm fine... I'm fine..." I responded. Undertaker giggled. "Thank you for confirming that, undertaker." I turned away. I saw him bow slightly at the corner of my eye. "Dane, let's leave the lion's den." Dane bowed and opened the door for me. I still had a blush on me. Dane was smirking. I glared. Stupid wolf knew.

When Dane opened the entrance doors, all my servants were standing there, smiling with sparkles in their eyes. The only person I see not smiling is Kage. He had a poker face look. Even though his expression said nothing, I felt that he had the same feelings as the other servants. "What are you all doing here?" I asked, blushing a bit brighter. Their smiles grew. "So? Was it confirmed, my lady?" Jenny asked. "Of course it has, mistress's face is practically a tomato!" Nick said. I turned away. "Shush it, Nick! Don't embarrass her!" Violet scolded. "Would all of you please stop!" Jade asked, sounding more like a demand than a question. I gave a low growl. "Jade, prepare a bath. Dane, get my robe ready. Nick, bake me cookies and get some milk. Jenny, fix up the library. And violet, you and Kage can prepare some flowers." "Which flowers, my lady?" Violet asked. I walked in and stopped when she asked that. "White roses. Paint them blue." I continued on to my bed chambers. Violet and Kage bowed and walked off. The other servants went on their way to do their duties.

|Ciel's POV|

I bursted through the entrance doors and bursted into my bed chambers. I sat on the edge of my bed and gave out a sigh. "Sebastian, prepare a bath!" I shouted. I laid back on my bed and blushed deeply. "My lord, we are having a guest." Sebastian said. I got up and sighed again. "Can't you just tell them to come another time?" There was awhile of silence then Sebastian bursted through my chambers while closing the door behind him. He started fixing me up. "What are y-" "I apologize, young master, but the guest is a troublesome one. It's lady Elizabeth!" I cringed at the name. I stood up and started panicking in the inside. "S-Sebastian, tell her I'm busy and can't-" before I could finish, Elizabeth bursted through the door. "OH, CIEL!!! YOU'RE SO CUTE!" She said, giving me a crushing, bear hug. "E-Elizabeth..." I said, gasping for air. "How many times have I told you to call me Lizzy?" She said, letting go. Before anything else happened, there was a knock at the door. Sebastian came into my room after his unnoticed disappearance for the door and announced that Lady Colligor was the one who knocked, along with Dane. "Let them in." I said calmly, although my heart is racing. Elizabeth looked confused. "Who is Lady Colligor?" She asked. I had a small smirk that wasn't noticeable. "She's a friend, Elizabeth." She pouted at the word 'Elizabeth'. "Hello, Phantomhive." Said a familiar voice. "Hello, Colligor." I responded. Ruby walked into the room. Elizabeth squealed. "SHE'S SO CUTE!!!" Elizabeth said. God, her voice is annoying! "Who is she, Phantomhive?" Colligor asked. I glanced at Elizabeth then at Ruby. "She's-" I was again cut off by Elizabeth. "I'm his fiancé!" She smiled proudly. "She is lady Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Midford." Sebastian introduced. Ruby raised a brow and her smile faltered. "I see." I glared at Elizabeth but she didn't notice. "Well, I was going to invite Ci-Ci to a ball!" She said, smiling. That's a smirk... isn't it? "'Ci-Ci?' Ciel, you never let me give you a nickname!" Elizabeth said, pouting. My brow twitched. "I-" I was cut off yet again by Elizabeth. "I can be his date! Oh Ciel, we could dance all night!" Elizabeth started spinning me.

|Ruby's POV|

I growled under my breath when I heard Elizabeth say that. "That's... great... but no one's suppose to have a plus one. It would be odd if all my guests were to come alone and just one can bring a plus one, so I would rather you not." Elizabeth didn't stop smiling. "Just invite me then!" She grinned wider, if that was possible. I cringed slightly. She was watching me, waiting for my answer. I looked to Dane.
Ciel and I looked really uncomfortable.
