IVEN POV"We should go to the airport, where I was going to travel...maybe we can find a working plane, and leave. Start a new life." I suggested.
Serry kept silent.
I guess she agreed with my idea because she followed my path there.
We saw a flock of whatever looked like birds heading the opposite direction.
It sent a shiver down my spine, I kept walking. Flashbacks of when I was running out of the airport, trying to escape the bombs... Seeing Serry's parents running as well. When I met Serry.
A apocalyptic crashed town was in the distance, a bomb stained eye sore for all to see.
"Almost there, Serry."
There it was, the huge building.
I ripped open the rammed sliding doors.
Stepping inside, blood... Dark, old, blood painted the walls, skulls and rotting bodies decorated the scenery.
There was the other flashback, waiting in a riot instead of a line for plane tickets, people being aggressive and violent. Desperate to get to the other continent.
One person in front of us slammed one persons head against the booth for taking too long
and to buy their ticket, their body falling to the ground.
A family panicking for not having enough money for the right amount of tickets, them hugging and waving good bye as guards hold me back. Only seeing them walking to their plane area.
I snapped back to reality, turning back to Serry who was examining the blood and bodies.
I walked on, Serry can find her way around.
I kept to the path, remembering each step that family took.
My foot stepped on something soft.
I looked down.
There was a pale, stuffed bunny, I bent down to pick it up. What I saw at the corner of my eye made me throw up.
Serry came running over to my aid. Simply putting her hand on my back. After I finished she walked over to the bunny I was holding, staring at the group of bodies.
"Ugh. They are started to rot..." She said flatly.
"It seems so..."
"Welcome to the death club..." She got up.
I glanced over to hundreds of destroyed planes, they didn't make it...
"Not everyone survives the start, but nobody can survive the end." Serry muttered.
We kept looking around, maybe being lucky to find survivors.
In the distance was a blue police box. Perfect.
The only place that good weapons and maybe humans would be.
I tapped Serry on the shoulder and pointed to my discovery.
We paced up to it, being cautious.
The sign said 'pull to open'... But it had no handles, I wrapped my fingers around the grooves in the doors, it didn't budge.
Serry pushed me over and kicked the door.
Push of course...
I looked inside.
Serry immediately closed it.
"NOT A POLICE BOX!"
"How did all that space fit in the tiny box?"
"Don't ask..."
She dragged me all over town afterwards, just searching.
Seemed like forever.
Until I saw Her...
When my real past hit me.
The flashbacks I had. The ones where I was a prince. That was me. The one where I'm being taken away, the ones that Serry saw.
I wasn't who I thought...
"Iven... IVEN!" She shouted.
