Aria POV

I passed through the throne room and cut around the garden.
I needed minerals from the Stone dimension.
Wait...
Where is it?
It was here!
What the hell?!
"Anything troubling you Princess?" I heard a voice behind me.
I jumped and turned around.
Fuck.
It was the Captain... Of the Guards.
"Well one of the dimension doors is missing and the ones around it are broken." I gestured toward to what I was talking about.
"I guess you can say Doors are so boring I could Die-mension of boredom..." She held back a laugh.
I glared at her.
"God I hate you..."
She fell back laughing.
"It wasn't that funny..."
"It was solid GOLD!" She laughed.
Her reaction made me throw in a little giggle myself.
We stopped laughing when inhuman screeching echoed through the air.
"What the fucK?!" The captain whispered.
A figure shot past both of us, loosing part of our balance.
I warped two swords with my magic and slid one to the Captian.
She picked it up.
"What the hell is that thing?!" She shouted.
"The fuck I know?"
Shadows whooshed past.
"IVY NO!" I screamed to the air, she was using her army of darkness. She almost ended the world last time.
The shadows screeched and flew into the inhuman figure.
There were too many.
Too many shadows.
Too many... Creatures.
"CAPTAIN! THEY ARE FROM THE BROKEN DIMENSION DOORS!"
No reply.
I didn't pay attention.
She got corrupted by the shadows.
Ivy's army already possessed her. Eyes now turning full black.
"Ivy I said NO!"
I pulled out my pistol and shot at all the dark spirits.
The Captain was already on her hands and knees, they were killing her.
"Ivy. I. Thought. I. Said. Stop." I growled, shouting the last word and sending a purity spell in all directions.
A dark chuckle echoed.
"Oh, fuck off I was having fun!" Ivy purred behind me.
"ALMOST KILLING THE STRONGEST PERSON IN THE KINDOM IS NOT FUN!"
"Ugh. Smooth your boobs girl."
"She could of helped me fight off those creatures! I don't need you!"
"Um what? You don't need me?! Who the hell helps you through your depression, who tells you what to snap back to rude peasants when they scowl you?! I was the one that brought you here! You don't need me!? YOU CANT SURVIVE WITHOUT ME!"
"I didn't need you to KILL THINGS WHEN I CAN DO THEM BY MYSELF!"
"You need to realize that you are nothing without me. Turn around idiot before your little friend dies." Ivy teleported away.
Friend?
Fuck.
The Captain.
She isn't my friend.
What the hell are you thinking about in that mind of yours Ivy?
Second thought I don't want to know.
I dragged the Captain to the palace aid room.
I didn't even know her name, why would I have a crush on her?
"IVEN!" I shouted, "SERRY!!!"
I heard rushing footsteps from the floor above.
"Aria, what is it, we heard yelling and screeching outside!?" Serry sounded concerned.
"It's the Captain, she got shot by one of Ivy's soldiers." I rested her limp body down.
"You mean Emersan?" Iven cocked his head to the side.
"I guess, I don't really know her name..." I went to grab the aid supplies.
"You're the princess you should know all of your people's names!" Serry exclaimed.
"Well I find no point of doing so." I stated.
Emersan, more of a masculine name than feminine...
"What happened to her really, Ivy's soldiers only attack when there is danger." Iven asked, checking for wounds.
I took a deep breath.
"Your dimension door is either destroyed or missing, the doors beside them are broken as well. I think the creatures escaped and are starting to attack here... Ivy thought she could help my using her army, but of course she is very foolish and careless and one of her shadows hit Emersan..."
I looked down.
"So we can't go back....." Serry cracked.
"Why would we want to go back?" Iven questioned.
"My parents....." Serry teared up.
"H-hey don't start crying, I'm working on a spell so I can't travel dimensions." I soothed.
Iven held out his hand to me, wanting Jenna to give him a healing orb.
"Annej leah tirips erup." I chanted.
Jenna summoned and formed a healing orb in Iven's hand. She was about to teleport back, but I stopped her.
"Wait with me... Please," I whispered, "in case something happens."
Jenna nodded and kneeled beside me, watching carefully as Iven healed Emersan.
"Sselb siht ydob ni eht eman fo anneJ" Iven chanted.
The orb fully healed the captain.
"Let her rest now." Jenna calmly said.
Serry, Iven, and I got up. Leaving Jenna to do her complete meditation healing process.
"Do you need help with the mutants outside?" Serry whispered.
"Yeah, we can help you Aria." Iven suggested.
"I could use it, I can use any help that isn't from Ivy." I sighed.
Serry and Iven followed me to the armor and weapon room.
There were multiple armor stands, mine being the silver and purple one.
Serry walked up to her old armor, the one she used in her dimension. Running her hand along the skirt, breathing out deeply.
"Let's change quickly, we don't know if there are any more creatures or mutants. Or when they will be coming back..." I said with an intoned voice into the silence.
Iven silently nodded, walking into one of the changing rooms.
After we all changed, I grabbed my silver sword, the one I used when Ivy possessed me the time I almost killed everyone, ending the world.
I regretted that day.
That was also the month I got my wings.
Damn peasants.
Although they helped me... Fighting off Ivy the best they could, knowing that I wasn't the normal me. But I'm stuck with these damn wings that don't even work properly....
I pushed away the thoughts and equipped two pistols.
Iven and Serry opened the doors leading to the back fountain.
"Aria... I think we might be too late." Iven said low.
"La-" I looked up.
Red sky.
Creatures everywhere.
Screams of humans and mutants.
Darkness and blood stained every inch of land visible.
Tearing up, I ran to the closest mutant possible, slashing their necks, blood poured out. Red liquid drooled out of their mouth. Their eyes turning to the back of their head.
I held the family that I saved.
"Get into the palace, my friends here will protect you until you get in!" I leaded them to Iven. Serry was killing and leading, holding children and light adults, arms around parents.
Most of my kingdom... Turned into Hell.
Corpses scattered around, their insides ripped out.
I leaded the last family to the palace.
I shut the palace doors. There were still some creatures out there....
I catched my breath. Telling Jenna to heal any injured or corrupted people.
"Aria...." Serry muttered.
I looked at her.
"Iven isn't here...."
Fuck.
FUCKFUCKFUCK.
I whipped open the door, slamming it behind me.
I powered up my magic, making it strengthen my wings, I couldn't fly super high. That would make it easier to find Iven.
"ARIAAA!" I heard Iven scream.
"IVEN? Where are you?" I yelled in reply.
"Help me! Over near the dimension doors. IT HAS ME!" He called.
He sounded... Too calm.
I glided over to the dimension doors.
I stopped myself.
Wait, I didn't.
Someone else.
"Now you know he is acting... Or someone is acting to be him." Ivy said.
I pulled out my sword, turning around giving her an 'happy now?' look.
"Let me help you. Just me, no possession or army."
"No I don't need your help!" I argued.
Ivy rolled her eyes and leaned against the palace wall.
"IVEN, I'M HERE!" I shouted.
"Perrrrfecttt" something hissed.
A cloaked figure stood before me, darkness flowed from under him like dancing waves. He had Iven tied up, a gag covering his mouth.
The only thing I saw next was a black, sharp object heading for my heart.
This is it.
I had no way of trying to block this.
I wouldn't survive the attack anyway.
"I'm sorry." I apologized under my breath.

I...
I was
Alive?
"Ivy?" I stuttered.
"I'm not that evil..." A voice grunted. It wasn't Ivy.
It was Serry.
She used her shield and blocked what could have killed me.
"Now let go of my fiancé, jackass." She barked.
"Fiancé?" The figure held Iven's hand up.
"I SAID LET GO OF HIM, YOU FULL ASSED FUCK!" Serry snapped.
I had to climb over Serry and hold the shield.
The sharp object kept piercing into it, if I let go, it kills both of us.
The cloaked figure then gave out a deep chuckle, summoning creatures to surround us.
It lifted its arm, revealing a razor claw. No fingers, just one single claw to rip out your head.
It used his claw to make a rectangular motion, it traced what used to be the outline of one of the dimension doors. A portal then showed up, it stepped inside slightly. Snatching the back of Iven's collar.
"DON'T TAKE HIM!" Serry cried. Pushing me off, running toward Iven and almost killing me.
I shot the inhuman bodies in the skull, aiming carefully at the ones near Serry.
Serry was desperately holding on to Iven.
"You can't leave me, I love you... You can't. I will find you if I loose you!!" She sobbed.
The cloaked figure slapped her away. Blood trickled down her cheek.
I had to hold her down, she would die just going into an unknown portal.
"LET ME GO! LET ME SAVE HIM! PLEASE! YOU HAVE TO!" She cried.
"I'm sorry Serry." I intoned.
It was no use.
We watched Iven be carried away.
His screams of help lingering like flowing blood.
Serry sobbed into my chest. Wiping her tears on my shoulder.
"We have to save him...."
"I don't know if we can, Serry"

Told you it wasn't over yet...
