Sebastian~

"Please," He whimpered. "Take me."

I licked my lips and pulled back slightly. Fuck did I want my beautiful mate, but I knew if I did, I would be too far gone to refrain from biting him. I moved him gently off of me and turned to look at him. 

"Xander." I started. He frowned. 

"It's ok, Sebastian." He looked up to the ceiling. 

"Baby listen to me." I sighed when he didn't turn to look at me. "I'm serious, Xander. We need to talk before we go further." Finally he turned to look at me. His eyes were almost filled with curiosity, except I could see the self-doubt plain as day in his face. I frowned. He was worried I wouldn't be satisfied with him. I sighed again. "Xander, I don't know how else to come out and say this, but I'm a vampire." 

It was quiet for a minute then he bursted out laughing. He shook his head and turned away from me, pulling the blanket up over his shoulder.

"Sebastian I'm a grown man. I don't need you to make up some excuse to not sleep with me. Thanks anyways though." I rolled my eyes. 

"Xander i'm not joking with you. And I want you more than anything." I tugged his shoulder making him fall back onto his back. He gasped as he looked at me and I knew exactly why. I had let my fangs drop and show proudly. The glowing red eyes of my vampire were shining as my senses got even stronger. The smell of his arousal and the sound of his erratic heartbeat were beyond what I wanted. My body yearned to mate with him. Now more than ever. 

"Oh my god." He whispered and got out of bed. i frowned and was in front of the door before he could blink. He gasped as he saw how quickly I had moved. "This is for real?" I frowned and nodded. 

"X I've wanted to tell you, but you were already so caught up with thinking you weren't good enough, that I was wanting to focus on that. You're my mate and I already love you more than I will ever love myself, Xander Kotori. I have no reason to ever lie to you about myself. This was the only thing i've kept hidden from you, and i'm sure you can understand why I have done that." 

"Are you going to kill me? What about my son!? I've had you around my innocent baby!" My heart constricted and I frowned. 

"I have given you absolutely no reason to fear me, Xander. Especially with Draken. I already love that boy as well. And before you ask, no, it isn't because of our mating bond. How could you think I would ever harm either one of you?" 

He frowned as he looked at me. I knew this part was going to be hard, but I hadn't expected him to so quickly assume that I had meant to hurt him. I should have known. It's what all humans do. 

"Sebastian, I.." I frowned. 

"Xander." I timidly walked closer to him, not wanting to frighten him. "You must feel deep inside that I am being truthful with you. That I would never hurt you. What can I do to make you see that?" 

Xander~

I sighed. I truly didn't know how I felt about it. I frowned as I realized something. 

"Wait a moment. Mate? What do you mean mate?" I looked at him as he suddenly turned shy. 

"Well," He hesitated. "As a vampire, the fates designate one person to be their life partner for the rest of their life. You were designed for me, specifically. From the moment I saw you step out the ambulance three weeks ago, I knew you were my mate." My heart constricted slightly. 

I was made for him. I licked my lips and sighed. 

"Sebastian I just don't know. I mean, I believe you. It just feels right like I am supposed to be with you. I am just so scared." I sat down on the edge of the bed. I looked up at him. "Can we just go to sleep? I need some time." He frowned and nodded. He went to walk out the room but I stopped him. "Bastian you can sleep in here." I looked down at my fingers, bashful. 

He crawled back onto the bed and we laid there. It was quiet for a good hour before I sighed in defeat and crawled closer to him. I slid my leg over his waist and cuddled into his side. He kissed my forehead and I quickly fell asleep. 

I shivered slightly as a breeze brushed against my bareback. I moaned quietly and tried to curl further into my warm man, instead I curled into a cold side of the bed. I frowned and sat up, looking around. 

I got out the bed and pulled on my long robe. I may be a man, but I loved my black silk robe. I quietly made my way downstairs to see Sebastian and Zekeial sitting out on the front porch. I raised an eyebrow until I heard the kids and Malachi in the kitchen. My eyesbrows wrinkled in confusion until I remembered we were supposed to be going to the zoo. I sighed and walked into the kitchen. Malachi looked up at me as I picked Draken up and kissed his cheek. I smiled.

"Good morning guys." I ruffled Hadrian's hair playfully. I looked at Malachi. "I'm going to have to start setting an alarm." I laughed. "Sebastian lets me over sleep way too much." I smiled. I looked up just as said man walked in with Zekeial. He walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. 

I could tell that we were still tense with each other, but it still felt great to have his arms around me. I leaned back against him as I still held Draken. Draken leaned forward and put his hand on Sebastian's arm. 

"Well you need to get ready!" Malachi laughed. "Cause of your lazy ass sleeping, it's already 10." I gasped and looked over to the clock. 

"Ok, ok. I'm sorry!" I chuckled. I kissed Draken's forehead and set him down. "I'll be ready in ten minutes. I promise." I walked upstairs and quickly got dressed and did my morning routine. 

"Just give him some time." i heard Zekeial whisper to Sebastian. I glanced around the corner. 

"Zekeial, I can't lose him. I bared my entire soul to him. This is my life." Zekeial sighed and put his hand on his shoulder. 

"Sebastian, I get it, really. You don't have to explain this to me. You won't lose him, you just have to give him time." I walked around the corner and looked at them. I could tell they were hiding something from me, but I didn't want to say anything yet. I just wanted to have a good day at the zoo. 

"Are y'all ready?" I smiled. They nodded. 

"We're taking two cars, of course, cause of how many people we have." Malachi said walking into the living room where we stood. I smiled.

We got everyone into the cars, Sebastian, Draken and I in his sleek black car, and Zekeial, Malachi, and Hadrian were in their car. We made our way towards the zoo.
