"Hold up. What exactly are you asking here? Just to be clear?" I say cautiously. I hope that I didn't misinterpret the whole thing and that he's not actually asking me to go home with him.

"What do you think I'm asking?"

"I'm not exactly sure. It seems like you want me to come home with you but, again, I'm not sure" I say trying not to sound like an idiot or a smart ass.

"Well, do you?"

"Want to what? Want to go to your house? That would be lovely but I'm kind of still in the middle of work. If you really want me to, you'd have to come back in a few hours" I say slightly disappointed. I know that many people would probably kill to go to Harry's house but I can't risk losing my new job.

Just as Harry is about to say something Jeremy walks toward Harry and interrupts him. Harry looks pleased to see Jeremy and shakes his hand before deciding to pull him into a hug. I realize that I'm most likely going to have to leave, so I get up and try to slowly creep away.

"Emma! Thank you so much for welcoming our guest and keeping him company" he says as I'm about to finally leave unnoticed. I turn on my heel, smile at Jeremy and give him a small nod before leaving.

I am finally out of sight and earshot from the man that has taken my life by storm these past few days. For the first time since I sat with him, I feel like I can breathe normally. As I gather myself quickly I hear footsteps coming nearer. I look up and see Clover coming at me with a huge smirk on her face. I already know what she's gonna say and don't want to hear any of it. But being the new girl around here, I don't think I should get on anybody's bad side.

"Damn, that boy must've really baked your cookies real good. You two were in there for ages. Tell me, what's it like with him?" she says suggestively while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Oh geez Clover no! That's totally not what happened. Baked my cookies? Really Clover?" I say defensively. If this is what she thinks of me then I really must be doing something wrong with my life.

"Calm down. What's the big deal? I'm sure he's probably banged anyone he's ever remotely wanted. But anyway, since you didn't do that, what did you guys do?" Clover questions, yet again.

"Not much. We just kinda talked. Nothing much really" I say honestly. Thinking back, not much really happened other than me almost passing out.

"Right. What did you guys talk about? The new stripper joint a few blocks down?" she jokes.

"Is that really what you think of him? That he only cares about women and pleasure? I'm sure there's a lot more to him than that. He's really nice and genuinely cares about others" I say a bit angrily. I never thought I would get angry at someone for insulting him, especially Clover.

"He really has you whipped, doesn't he?" she says in a sympathetic voice. It's almost as if she doesn't think Harry can be anything other than a materialist dick. I think something must've happened between her and Harry or someone famous for her to think like that. Or maybe she's right. Maybe I've gotten sucked up Harry's ass.

"You can think what you want, but when you realize he's not that bad don't come back apologizing to me" I say as I walk away and towards the main makeup artist. I haven't officially met him yet, but he seems really friendly. Everybody here seems nice and accepting, except for my small squabble with Clover.

I approach Andy and sit in his unoccupied chair. He's currently working on a model's makeup for an upcoming shoot. He sees me and smiles before finishing up on the model.

"What's up girl? It's Emma, right?" he says in an upbeat voice. He always seems to be laughing and having a blast in his small area of the studio. I've always wanted to come hang out with him but never had a solid excuse. Now that Clover and I are in an awkward situation, I feel like it's a good opportunity.
