"Should I be more careful? I mean I do have a boyfriend so I guess I should bring my guard up," I speak my thoughts aloud.

Right?

"I mean there's nothing wrong with meeting a boy. It's just another human being. It won't do any harm," I say convincing myself. I hope no one heard. I was now walking to my first class. I'm nervous yet excited. I get to meet more people. After Amy left to Philadelphia, my best friend, I didn't really talk to people until now. I mean I have 7 other roommates. That's a lot don't you think?

"Here we go, room 208," I have arrived at my first class. I take a seat in the middle and just think about life. What would happen if Lucas and I broke up? Wouldn't that be weird considering that we're in the same dorm? I don't know. I just don't want us to fall apart. What if Jack tries that? Or any other person. Ugh! Why do I have to have so many emotions?!?  I mean Jack is hot but so is Lucas. I like him a lot. I want to date with Lucas. I'm going to stay with Lucas.

"Hello?!?Are you alive?"  Someone asks me , waving their hand in my face, getting my attention. I look up and see Jack.

"Oh hi" I say awkwardly.

"Quite the day dreaming you were doing there."

"Yea" I say laughing. "Hey aren't you supposed to be in a different class?After all you are in a different grade than I am." I say

"Let me see your schedule," he demands.

"Ok..." I say, not knowing where he's going with this. I hand him my schedule.

"Yea see you're in honor classes so that means they are more advance. So it's harder and a challenge so that's why you might have some older kids in your classes," he explains to me.

"Oh!" I say surprised. "Oh wow!"

"Yea.." He says taking a seat behind me. Well I'm  in honors classes. That's good but also a lot of hard work. I wonder if any of my roommates are in honors.

"Oh look who it is, my lovely girlfriend," Lucas says. I smile.

"Its me," I say raising my hands up in the air. Lucas comes close to me and kisses me. We pull away and I look back while Lucas takes a seat next to me. I see Jack's jaw clenched and his hands formed into fists. Woah! What happened with him?
