Synopsis:
In an alternate version of the present, Tokyo has been stricken by a shocking terrorist attack, and the only hint to the identity of the culprit is a bizarre video uploaded to the internet. The police, baffled by this cryptic clue, are powerless to stop the paranoia spreading across the population.
While the world searches for a criminal mastermind to blame for this tragedy, two mysterious children-children who shouldn't even exist-masterfully carry out their heinous plan. Cursed to walk through this world with the names Nine and Twelve, the two combine to form "Sphinx," a clandestine entity determined to wake the people from their slumber-and pull the trigger on this world.
Personal opinion:
I remember watching the PV for this anime endless times a month before the summer season had began. I was really looking forward to this show, as I'm sure many others were. Despite my hype over Zankyou no Terror, all I had expected was a simple action anime about two teenage boys who happen to be very close friends blowing sh*t up! Oh boy, was what I had expected ever wrong, but I'm glad I was wrong because this show is one hell of an emotional and action-packed ride.
Overall, I f***ing love ZnT. I expected a show about two teenagers who are terrorists, that's what I got, but I also got a whole lot more to sweeten the package. If you're considering watching this show but are quite skeptical, at least give it a try and see what you think, it's not an anime that could easily be enjoyed by everybody, that's why you should give it a try and see if you enjoy it or not. But I'll highly recommend watching this masterpiece to anyone who asks.
P.S. Did anybody else watch this? Cus I really wanna talk about how awful Five sounded when she talked in English. That can't even be called 'english', rather, it should be renamed as 'hardcore engirishu.' XD
