based upon the song 'just saying' by 5 seconds of summer

as the 7th period bell rings, michael strolls out of class and walks down the hall, stopping at the locker with a little letter 'c' carved into the corner.  

"hey beautiful," michael smiles, as cara smiles at him, but then putting her focus back to getting her last period books out, and stuffing them into her book bag.

"yes, michael," she says, almost dropping her history book.

"have you broken up with doug yet?"  he asks, as she chuckles and shakes her head no.  "how?  he's such a loser, even his name is loser-ish.  you can do so much better,"

"maybe that's true, but i don't like him for his social status, i like him for who he is surprisingly," cara says, closing her locker.

"come on cara, we both know we have strong feelings for each other, just break up with him and give me a chance,"  michael says, as cara smiles, but turns around.

"don't be late to last period," she turns her head to say, then turning back around and heading to her last period class.

michael watches as her perfect, petite body walks down the hall.  how does a loser like doug score a girl like her?  

all michael does know is that soon enough he'll get cara for himself, a guy like doug doesn't deserve her.

"dude, you gotta give up on her,"  luke states, scrolling away on his phone.

"no luke, one day she's gonna realize that she deserves better than him, and i'm that better person," michael says, as calum rolls his eyes at him.

"come on man, you've been wrapped up on her since sophomore year.  we're seniors now, go find a cute junior or sophomore, don't bother with cara," ashton says, as michael sighs.

"yeah, but none of them are cara,"  michael says, as all the boys groan in frustration.  all michael talks about is cara, cara this cara that, but they let it slide since they know michael is head over heels for her.

geez, you're lab partners with a girl once, and this happens.

hey so i hope you liked chapter one!! the chapters will be short like this usually.  they may possibly get longer as the story goes on but for right now they are short :)
