Chapter 1

I was back from the lecture. It was something about finding life out there..yeah it may sound stupid it was exactly what I said.
It was about a fucking planet ,found too far from earth..huh why I'm still discussing it. Honestly I listen to that lecture so that I can manage to get B grade in my last semester.
Oh I forgot to introduce myself I'm Alice Esterice. I'm doing physics graduation ( basically because of Jake , 40% I actually wanna do it )
I initially start taking interest in physics coz of sci-fi movies.
That's all I like to tell about myself.
The lecture was pretty boring so completed my sleep ..u know just to use the time. Hah. Soph was there , she's my best friend.. well sort of. Okay we're friends no more assumptions.
We walk out of the hall. It's pretty chilled so I wish I should have listened to my mother and grabbed a hoodie.
"Oh hello ! I'm talking to u" Soph said and waved her hand in front of my face.
"I was listening to you dude.. u should concentrate on what u say not on whether i'm listening on not" I chuckle
She frowned.. not again
"Soph come on u yesterday dated a fucking guy who stalked u for months. That's not interesting. I'm telling u"
I yelled and rolled my eyes then laughed as I see her eyes watery
Oh shit.. "Soph no don't cry. I'm sorry okay". I begged literally holding her shoulder
"I got u Alice Esterice." She rubbed her eyes and called out my full name .
Naah it's the worst sign calling me by my full name. Gosh why the hell she's so pissed.
She passed out. I'll be dead in tomorrow's class. Alice be ready for it . I warned myself.
Woah she's walking back to me.
My jaw dropped and she's smiling.
Why the fuck is smiling. I always doubt her sinister smile.
"He is nice Alice u are going to meet him if u don't want yourself dead tomorrow "
Damn she always reads my mind.
"I'm sorry Soph. U know.. "
"Yeah I know u think its a piece of shit." She cuts my words.
" U know you are girl version of a rude boy ." She winked I laugh
"Actually a rude, arrogant, lazy , little bit...."she continued
"So u want me to kill u" I chuckle
We laughed so hard dat almost all the eyes around were staring us.
We walked to her house which was quite close and big after promising her to meet that guy. I waved her and walked few streets and reached my home.. sweet home I hope.
I step inside. Well the drawing room was clean, other rooms far more clean. Seriously what's wrong
"Mom....." i shouted .
No answer. I check out the backyard . "there u are ...mom.. I called a lot" I yelled.
"Well... yeah what's wrong? "She seemed surprised
"What's wrong.. the house its so clean and u are in backdoor .. mom... u are waiting for whom..is someone coming."
"Yeah.. lawyer .. well Mr. Halt is coming, I want ur step brother kicked out of my house and ur head."
"What ? Why?" I was confused and of course shocked
"Okay mom .. I know u hate him but his dad is no more u can't .."
"He's the reason why ur dad is no more..
"Your second husband not my dad" I hissed leaving her alone.
Dat's my family life, she's my mother Rose Esterice Smith, my dad died when I was 10 it was car accident after four years my mother remarried to another man Mr. Jeremy Smith and his children, Catherine and Jake . Catherine was well different, she was 18 covered with tattoos, she hates me though. Jake was 16 I guess. He never talk. Never to me at least.
After my mother and Mr. Jeremy became a legal couple. They moved to my mother's house one day we went to camping with some neighbors. At night there was great rush coz one of our camp was on fire. We don't know how but Catherine and Jeremy were burned alive. Jake somehow escaped from dat day my mother thinks Jake is the reason why she is alone, coz he also came alive from the accident which killed my dad.
