"Never would I have thought that I'd be so happy to move back to LA."
"Why did you guys move in the first place?" My best friend Bree asked.
Me and Bree just graduated high school and now we're back here in beautiful California where we were both born. Me pursuing my love of music and Bree pursuing her love of dance and acting. Bree knows just about everything there is to know about me. She forgets very easily though.
"Because of that guy back in first grade."
"You mean the guy you had your first crush on that broke your heart and everyday picked at all of your flaws and made you cry?"
*sigh* "Yeah Bree, that guy."
"I never found out his name though. What was it?"
"It's been so long I honestly have no idea anymore."
"Oh, well I'm glad you're over it finally. It took you 10 years to get your confidence back!"
"Almost! It was almost 10 years."
"Either way it was 9 years too long."
"Yea I guess it..." I stopped mid sentence just as the loudest grumble ever came from my stomach.
"Hey Bree how about we go check out that Chipotle we passed on the way?"
"Sounds great!"
