Panicking in his arms I quickly scan the room until I see Bree. Once I find her I look back up at Jackson to see a worried yet curious look in his eyes.

"Are you ok Miss?"

Thank god he doesn't know who I am.

"Um.. uh huh I'm fine.. I just remembered... that me and my friend have to do something really important tomorrow so... BYE!"

I was so close to making it out free but then he has to go and gently grab my arm.

"Wait. Will I ever see you again?"

"Hmm..probably not."

"Can you atleast tell me your name?"

"Sorry Jackson but it's best if I didn't."

"Wait. How did you know my name's Jackson?"

Shit I was so close.

"Uh you told me remember?" I lied hoping he would buy it.

"I did?"

That made him confused enough to loosen his grip on my arm which wasn't tight to begin with. Now I just need to find Bree again.

Sure enough there she was at the refreshments talking to some guy. She'll probably hate me for this but I really need to get out of here before Jackson finds me.

"Bree. C'Mon we gotta go!" I say pretty much dragging her away from the guy she was talking to.

"Why? What's wrong?" She asked looking genuinely confused and worried.

"Let's just get out of here and I'll tell you later. Promise."

Bree looks over my face still worried and confused but brushes it off.

"Ok. But you're telling me everything once we get inside the car."

"I will now let's go!"

Once we've reached the car I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. On the drive back home I explained everything to her. I told her how the guy I was with turned out to be Jackson and how before he could find out who I was I ran for it.

"Aww. It sounds like those Cinderella stories we always watch on ABC Family." Bree gushed.

"I guess it does except I didn't leave anything behind. So there is no way he can ever find out it was me."

"Why are you so worried if he knows that it's you or not?" Bree asked as we reached the driveway.

"You know honestly Bree, I don't have a freaking idea."

"You really ARE weird Sam. You know that?"

"Yup-" I said popping the 'p' "-but that's why you love me."

"Yea I guess."

"Hey. Speaking bout weird. How come you weren't freaking out from me pulling you away from that guy?"

"What guy?"

"The guy you were talking too when I went to get you."

"Oh him! Yea I guess we just didn't click. You know?"

"Um, not really. But I guess that's good?" I said unsure.

"You know exactly what I mean! From that little encounter at Chipotle I could tell immediately that you and Jackson clicked. And now that you two automatically had eyes for each other even with masks on just proves my point even more."

"We didn't click he was just by the stairs staring at me and asked me to danced." I said feeling a little but flustered.

"Uh huh sure."

"Whatever Bree you just don't like admitting you've lost your touch at playing cupid's little partner in crime."

Ever since middle school Bree has always tried setting people up claiming she had a gift. It wasn't till eighth grade that I reluctantly agreed to let her match me up. Long story short after a week of dating he turned out to be one of the biggest closet players I know and cheated on me with almost all my friends.

"Gasp! You take that back Sam!"

"Night Bree." I knew I've just won this little dispute as I heard Bree's door pretty much slam shut. I couldn't help but chuckle lightly to myself. Leave it to the wanna be actress to be over dramatic.

After that I ended washing my face of the make up I had on changed into baggy sweats and a plain tank top and threw my hair up in a messy bun. I figure why take a shower now if I'm only gonna get dirty again.

With that said I plug my phone in its charger and head straight to the boxes that I have yet to open let alone unpack.

This was gonna be a long night.
