"Did you just try to use a pickup line on me?"
I asked Jackson. Off in a short distance I hear a loud smack. I look over and see Bree with her hand on her face while her free hand is now moving to bring her cold glass of soda to the now red area.
Jackson chuckles.
"Yea, I guess I did. Most girls don't call me out on it though. They usually just giggle, give me their number and bat their fake eyelashes at me."
He says with his hand rubbing the back of his neck.
"You know, I don't usually go for the whole pickup line thing but something about you is too charming and sweet to reject. I'm new to this whole area so I'm just gonna give you my number and leave."
We exchange phones and add our numbers. Out of the corner of my eye I see him with the cutest smile! I can't help but chuckle lightly to myself. He gives me my phone back and I give him his. We say our goodbyes for now and I make my way over to Bree. I'm honestly surprised she stayed this qui-.
"Oooh! Somebody got some digits! Somebody got some digits!"
Yup. It was just a matter of time.
"Bree shut up! We gotta go."
"Why!?"
"Because I don't feel good and remember you're paying."
"Riiight."
Bree gets up to go pay and I tag along but the cashier tells us it's already been paid for.
"What? But we didn't pay for it."
"I know some gentleman did."
The cashier tells us with a cheeky grin on her face.
"Who?"
"Uh...*cashier searches* it was that guy."
She points and me and Bree turn around to see. We look out the window and see some guy crossing the street to get his car. Really? It was him?As Bree talks to the cashier I get a text.
Jackson: "One thing you should know bout me is that I'm a gentleman"
Great. Here comes the bad burrito.
