Author's note:

So I got this up before Feb. Thank God! But I'm not sure when the next part comes up. I'm currently working on a new story that I won't post or talk more about until it is finished and I am ABSOLUTELY happy with how it turned out. It won't be a Jackson Guthy one though. I tell you that for sure. Any ways here is the chapter you've been waiting so long for!

The rest of that night was uneventful.  I ended up unpacking all of my boxes except for one. What can I say it was getting late and I wanted to sleep at a decent time compared to the times I had been sleeping. Jackson hadn’t talk to me since Bree texted him. Maybe it was a good thing he hadn’t contacted me. Maybe we just need some time apart to figure out what’s going on – I know for sure I do.

Waking up I still hadn’t received any missed calls or texts from Jackson. It hasn’t even been a day since we almost kissed so why was I worried. I need to clear my head and right now being in a room although how spacious it is – isn’t helping me. Bree is still asleep so I leave a note for her telling her I have my phone on me and the keys. She doesn’t need to know where I’m going. Hell! I don’t even know where I’m going. All I know is that I just need to explore, go outside, listen to music, just anything to get out of the house and to stop over thinking things like I normally do.

About 10 minutes into my walk I find a cute little park. I’m honestly surprised that there isn’t a drug deal going on or something. Back in Arizona no matter how good and family friendly the park looked there were always drug deals going on in the corner by the bathrooms. I find a park bench and sit down. Taking my headphones out I just relax and listen to sounds of nature.

30 minutes later I got a text. I can’t tell who it’s from because as soon as the notification goes on a different one letting me know someone is trying to ring me up goes on and it’s Bree.

“Are you coming back anytime soon?”

“Yes I am I just needed to get out for a while. Why?” I ask her.

“Just curious. I found old yearbooks and pictures and I figured we could reminisce and eat ice cream. You know, kinda like the old times.”

“Sure. Sounds good. Just give me a few more minutes and I’ll be in about 15.”

“Okay. Be safe Sam.”

“Always am Bree.”

Once the call ends I put my headphones back in and start my way back to the house. I go slow because being outside is just so peaceful. At least now I found my place to go when I need to be alone.

I reach the house and turn my phone off and set it on the charger. That way it charges faster. Bree and I sit on the floor in her room eating ice cream out of our individual pints. She has mint chocolate chip, while my poison of choice tonight is cookies n’ cream.  We look through all of her yearbooks of the schools we went together from 6th grade all the way to our Senior year in high school.  Once we get hungry enough for actual food and not just ice cream we decide to order a pizza and look at the rest of her pictures later. I figured my pictures and yearbooks must be in that last box that I have yet to even move from its place inside my closet. After dinner it’s back to pictures and then she goes wherever it is Bree goes. Probably late job huntings or whatever. I should probably start looking for a job too.

Note – to – Self: Look for a job before the next month is over.

While Bree leaves I organize a few more things here and there in the house and take a nice, long shower. When I get out I check all my social media accounts and then decide I should watch YouTube videos.  That is exactly how I fell asleep.

Author's Note:

I am so sorry for this chapter. It seems kinda weird and stuff but this is honestly a slight filler chapter but it also leads a little bit into the original plot I had for this story a long time ago. PLEASE DON'T HATE ME!
