"Shuurai!" Everone except Sasuke jumped up as Shuurai entered through the door.
"Wha-" "Where-" "Huh?!" Everyone had different reactions to Shuurai's appearance. She had dirty, wet, matted hair, torn clothes, one boot missing and she was covered in half-dried blood.
"Shuurai, what happened to you? Tell us now." Kakashi ordered. He was calm on the outside but inside was a battle of different emotions seeing one of his students like this. Sasuke stood up.
"Leave her alone for a while. Let her get cleaned up. We'll question her later."
"But Sasuke-" Naruto was cut off by Sasuke's silencing stare.
"Cmon, Shuurai. Let's get you cleaned up. Tsunami-san? If you would take Shuurai to the bathroom?" Sasuke asked.
"Of course." Tsunami smiled at the girl, though she was a bit shocked at the sight of all that blood. "Follow me, please." Tsunami went towards the towel cupboard. Just before Shuurai followed her, she met Sasuke's eyes and sighed. She knew that she'd have to explain everything to him when she got out of the shower.

Shuurai put on a new set of clothes and began drying her hair. She looked outside and saw that the rain had stopped, so she made her way to the rooftop.
"About time." Sasuke was standing on the rooftop with his arms crossed. "I told the others to leave you alone and give you the chance to tell them yourself."
"Thanks," Shuurai smiled gratefully at Sasuke.
"Hn, no problem." A smirk played on Sasuke's face. "Little sister."
Flashback:
(hehe. what? i like flashbacks) Four year old Sasuke ran around the field, being chased by Shuurai. "ARGH!" he screamed. "Little sister is chasing me! Someone help!"
A pair of arms caught him as he stumbled on a rock. "Little brother," Itachi said, amused. "If she's younger than you, then why are you running away from her? Aren't you supposed to be chasing her? Instead of the other way around."
Shuurai panted as she caught up with Sasuke, who currently was in Itachi's arms. "Haha, haha." She mocked. "Baby Sasuke runs away from his fights because he needs someone to protect him."
"I am not a baby!" Sasuke screamed. "You are! You're younger than me anyway."
"Only by two days!" Shuurai screamed back. "That doesn't mean anything. Two days isn't going to make a difference. I'm stronger than you, smarter than you and taller than you. So there!" Shuurai smiled triumphantly at Sasuke's enraged face.
Itachi chuckled, watching the two of them fight. Of course, he thought. Four year olds think that being taller is more important than being stronger. Typical little kids.
"I heard that!" Both kids turned to glare at Itachi, who sweatdropped. "Uh oh, this isn't good." Itachi murmured. They may be kids, but when they fought side by side, they sure packed a punch.
Itachi gently set Sasuke on the ground and backed away. "Now, now." He said nervously. "No need to get so mad..." He trailed off as they began to stomp towards him.
"ARGH! I'm being chased by my little brother and sister! Someone help!" Itachi yelled as he ran across the field and into the surrounding woods.
End flasback
"Hey, I'm only younger than you by two days." Shuurai defended herself.
"Two days." Sasuke stretched the last word. "That's 48 hours, which, is 96 half-hours, which is, uh..."

Strike of Lightning (Naruto fanfic)
FanfictionBefore you ask, no, this is not a fanfic where the main character/friends get struck by lightning and get transported to another world. It's simply called this because that's what the main character's (Shuurai) name means. Plus I've got no idea how...
