Hey guys, just wanted to let you know, I'm sort of stuck on where to go so any ideas would be appreciated! Also I'm taking requests on writing fillers with holiday or religious themes to it. You'd obviously have to give me a brief outline of the holiday/ festivity and what you're meant to do in it though. One of my followers requested for a filler to be made with the Muslim month of Ramadan (the fasting month) incorporated in it, so here I am! I'm sorry if the chapter offends Muslim people in any way.
Pretend Naruto and the rest of the gang are all Muslims (except Kakashi). Kakashi doesn't really know much about Ramadan.
"Assalamu alaikum (the Muslim greeting) Sakura-chan!" Naruto raced up to Sakura, wearing a prayer cap. "Have you prayed yet? Kakashi-sensei told us to be here early and I got out of the house straight after eating Suhoor! (terms will be explained at the end... or whenever I feel like it :p) I met up with Sasuke at Shuurai's house and we all prayed together before I came here. Well, Rai prayed a bit away but yeah. Soo you fasting, Sakura-chan?"
Sakura sighed. Control your temper, it's Ramadan, don't hurt him... but seriously, who talks so much at like 5:30 in the morning?! (the time zone is according to my follower) "Assalamu alaikum Naruto. Yes, I am fasting. Naruto, you know it's a bit awkward if you ask that. Girls can't fast sometimes and it puts everyone in a strange situation when someone asks a question like that out of the blue.
"Huh?" Naruto put his cap in his pocket and scratched his head. "Why not?"
Grr... can I kill him already?! "Na. Ru. To. This is why you should have paid attention in school." Sakura looked away.
"When girls have their monthly's, they're not allowed to fast, dobe." The two Uchiha walked up to the pair, both with hoodies on and hands in their pockets. "You should know that. I remember you were awake then. You'd just been dragged into class after hiding in the girls' bathroom."
"Sasuke-kun! Assalamu alaikum! You too, Shuurai" Sakura greeted.
"You tem- I mean," Naruto gritted his teeth firmly. My Ramdan resolution was to be more polite to everyone, but it's already hard, believe it! "Assalamu alaikum... Sasuke and assalamu alaikum Rai-chan!"
"Hn," Sasuke murmured. Shuurai glared at Sasuke and jabbed him with her elbow. "Ouch. I mean assalamu alaikum, Sakura, Naruto. Nice to... nice to see you all."
Both of the mentioned blinked in amazement as the rare phenomenon occurred but decided not to comment on it. Maybe Sasuke would pick up this good habit during Ramadan and it would continue even after the end of the month. Maybe commenting on it would make him uncomfortable and stop him from doing it any more. Then again, with Shuurai with him, maybe he would still continue.
"Rai-chan, why are you being so quiet today?"
Sasuke glanced at Shuurai who had her palms curved, facing towards her. "We came a bit later because we were reading Quran and she's making dua right now. She can talk, but she doesn't want to ruin her concentration."
Sakura nodded understandingly. As the conversation lulled and everyone peacefully (for now haha) waited for Kakashi-sensei, Sakura thought of a question. "So... what'd you guys all eat for Suhoor?"
Naruto beamed. "I had ten bowls of ramen and a glass of milk."
By this time. Shuurai had finished making dua. "Ugh, Naruto, that doesn't sound like a really good mix. I had yakidori with Sasuke at that restaurant Chouji always goes to because food at his place ran out and I forgot to go shopping for groceries yesterday." Her statement was followed by nods from the other two and a huff from Sasuke.

Strike of Lightning (Naruto fanfic)
FanficBefore you ask, no, this is not a fanfic where the main character/friends get struck by lightning and get transported to another world. It's simply called this because that's what the main character's (Shuurai) name means. Plus I've got no idea how...
