A/N: I didn't proof read, sorry!

"Y/N, hurry up!" Ally, your cousin and best friend, called from downstairs.

You sighed and grabbed your hoodie because it was raining outside and quickly made your way down stairs and out the front door. You huffed when you jumped into the car and prepared yourself for Ally's complaining about how you were taking so long.

"Took you long enough," Ally said and put the car in reverse. You just rolled your eyes at her.

"Hi Y/N," Noah, Ally's three year old son, greeted from his spot in his car seat.

You twisted around and smiled at the little boy. "You just saw me you dork."

"Hi Y/N!" He repeated cheerily.

"Hey Noah," You chuckled and held out your fist. He giggled happily and fist bumped you.

"Legos!" He pointed to the bag of mega block Legos for toddlers.

"Yeah? Are those yours?" You asked and he nodded excitedly.

"No," Ally spoke up. "Those are for Julianna."

"No mommy!" He frowned and crossed his little arms. "Mine!" Noah exclaimed and went on a little rant that sounded like gibberish.

"This kid I swear," Ally sighed and made a left turn. "Noah, don't be mean. Those are for Julianna, it's her birthday today."

He whined and started kicking his feet. "No!"

"If you're gonna be a brat I'm gonna take you home right now," Ally warned.

He immediately stopped his little tantrum. "No," He whimpered and shook his little beanie clad head. "I wanna see Julinana."

"Alright then behave."

You laughed and shook your head at the two. You were accompanying Ally and Noah to one of her coworkers' daughter's birthday party. You didn't really want to because you wouldn't know anybody there besides Ally but you haven't spent time with your favorite cousin since you've been away at college so you tagged along.

Even though you knew you were going to be bored since the place was going to be filled with either toddlers or women in their almost mid twenties or older. Ally was six years older than you but you two were the closest out of everyone in the family. You have always been more mature for your age so the age difference was never really a problem.

Turns out you were right and you sat in the corner bored out of your mind as Ally and her coworkers gossiped about work. You were munching a chocolate covered rice crispy treat, listening to them drone on and on about one of their bitchy coworkers that everybody hated or how unfair things seem to be.

"I can't believe Gigi is getting promoted to fully time and not me," One of the mom's complained. You think her name is Dinah.

"I can. Gigi hustles at work," Another one spoke up and you know her name is Normani.

"Oh and I don't?" Dinah raised an eyebrow.

"Not like Gigi, girl. She works hard like you do too but she does it differently," Normani leaned back in her seat and continued to eat her food.

"Yeah, fair enough," The tall blonde conceded.

You rolled your eyes and started scrolling through your phone. You heard a bunch of gasps and lots of yelling and you glanced up from your phone to see what was all the commotion. There was a crowd so couldn't but when they parted your breath hitched in your throat at the woman who just entered the house.
