A/N: I'm sorry in advance. And I didn't proofread so sorry about that too!

"That was good right?" He asked when he took a step out of the house.

"Yeah whatever," Lauren mumbled, already wracked with guilt. She felt disgusted with herself and she wanted him to leave already so she could go take a shower and scrub her body until her skin was red and raw.

She couldn't believe what she had just done. She just cheated on her girlfriend of five months. Her wonderful, caring, and beautiful girlfriend. Lauren just screwed up the only thing that really mattered to her for what? Some sleazy guy who was dumber than a sack of rocks and couldn't even last longer than thirty seconds. She didn't even know his name for Christ's sake!

Fuck, Lauren was definitely a horrible person.

The guy, oblivious to her obvious uncomfortable demeanor, grinned and pulled her into a sloppy kiss. Lauren immediately pushed him away by his chest, repulsed by the way he manhandled her and just shoved his tongue down her throat.

"Call me," He winked at her. "Oh hey!" He smiled at the person who was standing on the porch watching the two in surprise and walked off, practically skipping away. He had just gotten laid by some hot chick. He didn't have a care in the world right now.

You stood there with your mouth agape and the pressure already building up behind your eyes because of what you just witnessed. The items you had been holding had slipped out of your grip you were so in shock.

All you wanted to do was surprise your girlfriend on an impromptu date. Lauren had been a little down in the dumps lately and you wanted to do anything you could to make it better and to see her smile. So you planned a day trip for the two of you and bought her, her favorite flowers.

Only to pull up to her house and find her in the arms of someone that wasn't you and her lips attached to his. The same lips you had just kissed the day before. The same lips that had promised never to hurt you.

You didn't know what to feel in this exact moment. You could feel everything and nothing at all. It's like you had gone numb.

"Y/N," Lauren breathed out, the tears were already falling down her face.

You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. "Tell me I didn't just s-see what I think I s-saw," Your voice cracked.

"B-baby," Her lip quivered and she took a step closer to you.

"Lauren tell me I didn't just see you w-with - you were- he had- tell me!" You pleaded.

"I c-can explain." Lauren took your hand in hers but you immediately flinched away like you had been burned. It broke her heart all the more.

There was a fire in your eyes when Lauren finally looked up and she was slightly afraid, she had never seen you so angry or hurt before.

"Did you fuck him?" You asked but you already knew the answer. The way Lauren looked away in shame and how her shoulders shook while she cried into her hands, mumbling apologies over and over again, was confirmation enough but you needed to hear her say it. You don't know why; you just did. It's not like it'll make things easier.

"Did you fuck him?!" You asked louder than before.

"Yes!" She cried.

"Oh my god," You let out in disbelief. This wasn't happening right now. No, it wasn't it. It couldn't be happening because the girl you fell in love with would never do this to you. This was just some nightmare that you'd wake up from soon.

Except the girl you love is standing in front of you sobbing because she did actually cheat on you. She really did sleep with someone else.

Why? Where had things gone wrong? Were you not a good enough girlfriend? Did you not pay enough attention to her? Was she not happy with you? She seemed happy. So what was it?
