Kaitlyn's POV
I wake up to my blaring alarm once again. Thank God it's Friday. This week has gone by so fast after the boys got here. I have had so much fun with them and am getting a lot closer to each one of them. Yup. You saw it coming. Especially Toby.
I don't know. We have so many things in common and I trust him with everything. Literally. Even girl stuff. He listens to my venting and stories. My boy problems. All of it. That's what makes us such good friends. We can tell each other everything. That's all a friend can ask for. And when it comes to Toby, he's a total package. You got the humor, the looks, the smarts, the personality. Everything. And he is just himself.
I go to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I pull my hair up in a messy bun as I decide what to wear. Well school colors... I thought. I get out my navy jean shorts and look for a top. Hmmm red would look cute with this. I go into my older sister's, Hanna, room and look for a red shirt. I grab the v-neck thinking it would be fine.
I look in the mirror fixing my hair with my straightener. Wow. I kinda looked dolled up. I add mascara and some lip gloss. I'm feeling kind of confident today. I don't know whether it's because it's Friday or I get to see all the boys again tonight. Well actually it's probably because it's Friday because the boys are practically living in my house.
I run downstairs grabbing a granola bar on my way out to my car. My backpack is sitting in the backseat. Perfect. Wow Kaitlyn. You're on time. I couldn't help but giggle at myself. I pull up to school and see Toby walking in. I run up behind him and jump on his back. He looks up as I smile sweetly at him. He just keeps on walking and I just keep on hanging. Wow I made quite a scene. I get off his back and we walk the rest of the way to our lockers.
I pull out the books I usually need and head to class.
"Kaitlyn! Wait up!" I hear a familiar voice call out. I stop in my tracks as I wait for Tyler to catch up to me.
"Hey slacker." I said teasingly.
He gives me a puzzled look. I honestly don't know why I said that either.
"Sorry I am in a great mood today."
He chuckles a bit. Gosh his laugh is so cute. He tilts back his head a little and I swear I can hear angels singing.
"Anyways..."
I look at him thinking about what he could possibly talk to me about. I watch him waiting for any words to come out of his mouth but he stays silent.
"You know. Um. Can we just talk about this later? After school? Your house?" He asks. I nod my head as we walk into the classroom.

Yay! Hardly any homework today. I drive home going through all possible scenarios that Tyler wants to talk to me about. Ok well he might want to talk about the party, or maybe the pool part, maybe homework, or girl problems, or something stupid like that. I walk inside and plop down on the couch. A few minutes later I hear my doorbell ring.
Did I mention my parents are divorced? That can be a plus. House to myself, place to go when I'm in trouble for something I did, etc....
I reach the door and open to find Tyler standing on the porch. I move out of the way indicating for him to come in.
"Does Mallory know you're here?" I ask out of curiosity.
"Nope. I just needed to talk. Nothing more nothing less."
"Okay well we can sit on the couch...?" I say sitting down. Tyler sits on the opposite side of me. "Soooo..."
"So about your party. That thing on the porch... It wasn't a thing. It was a mistake. I have a girlfriend and you have a boyfriend. I'm sorry for trying. It was just a time when I was down and needed someone and you were there and you understood my silence. It was just-"
