The foot

Skye

I walked home from school, when Suddenly ninjas dropped down and cornered me in an ally. "What the-" They all attacked. I jumped over one, and tripped it. then screamed as I was stabbed in the shoulder. I sank to the ground.

I looked up as The ninja's katana aimed at my heart. I waited, but the pain didn't come. "Leave her alone!" I opened my eyes to see Raph standing over me. He beat the ninjas and ran to my side. "Skye!" I smiled weakly. "H-Hey, Raphie. Thanks for the save." He looked me over. His green eyes full of worry.

I touched his cheek. "I'll be ok, Raph." He picked me up, and took my to my room window. Lying me on my bed, Raph turned on his human watch and sat beside me. He pulled down my shirt collar over my shoulder. I whimpered. "Skye, your ok." I shuddered. "It-it hurts..."  He stroked my face. "I know it does, princess. I know."

He wrapped my shoulder, and kissed my forehead. "You'll be ok, Skye." I smiled. "I know. But why were they after me?"  He shrugged, and leaned on the head board. " I don't know, but I'm gonna find out." 

I sighed, and carefully put my head on his shoulder. I winced at the pain in my shoulder. Raph ran his fingers through my hair. Then the door was thrown open. Mom ran in, then froze as she saw Raph. "S-Skye.." I tried to get up, but the pain forced me down.

"Mom, don't freak out!" she covered her mouth. Raph glanced at me. "Skye, don't move. You'll hurt your shoulder. "Skye, there is a 'he' in your room?!?!" Mom shouted. I growled. " 'He' Is my friend mom! And he has a name." Mom calmed a little. 

I leaned on Raph. "And lower your voice will ya? She's been stabbed." Raph growled. Mom gasped. "Are you ok, sweet pea?!" I growled softly. "Yes, I am." Mom looked warily at Raph. "So, who is..." I sighed. "This is Raph. My best friend. He save me." 

Mom smiled at him. "Thank you." Raph nodded. I whimpered and Raph held me close. "She should get some sleep." Mom said. Raph nodded and started to get up. "No. Raph stays." I argued holding on to him. "Skye-" "No, mom. Raphael stays with me." I snuggled into his arms, and closed my eyes.

"I trust him." Mom nodded. "Should I get an ambulance?" I shook my head. "I'll be ok, mom." I closed my eyes. "Well, I honestly don't like the idea of a boy in your room." I opened my eyes. "Mom nothing is going to happen. He's just my best friend." I put my head on Raph's green shirt. 

Mom sighed. "Ok, but I'm going to check up on you once in a while." I nodded. "Ok, sure." I snuggled close to Raph. When mom left, Raph let out his breath. "I am so glad I set my watch on human." I nodded. "Yeah." If she saw you were a turtle, she might have had a heart attack."

He chuckled, and I smiled. "Yeah. I can imagine her screaming, and running in circles." I laughed. "Yeah. That would be funny." He sighed, and leaned on the head board with me in his arms.  I felt his embrace tighten, and my heart fluttered.

Wow. I really was falling for my best friend. We both fell asleep there, cuddled up together. I woke up and Raph was gone. I sighed and lay back down. Mom made me skip school that day. that night I was out with the dragons on a robbery. "Hey, Hun. I got attacked by the foot yesterday." I told out leader, crossing my arms. 

"What's up with that?" He shrugged. "I donno. I'll talk to Shredder about it." I glared slightly. He had something to do with it. I was sure..... But I soon let it pass, and forgot about it. Next day We all went to Aprils house, and played Truth or dare. 

Leo thought. "Donnie. truth or dare?" Donnie thought quick. "Truth." Leo grinned. "Is it true that you like April?" Donnie blushed bright red. "Y-yes." April looked away blushing. "Mikey. Truth or dare." Don asked. 

Mikey smiled. "Dare!" Don smiled. "I dare you to go all day tomarrow without pizza." Mikey's face fell. "WHAT? YOU WANT ME TO DIE?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY BROTHER?!" I laughed. Mikey pouted. the game went on for a while, then I made Leo not watch the latest Space Heroes episode for a week. 

Then he got his revenge. "Skye. Truth or dare?" I should have picked truth. But I almost always picked Dare. "Dare!" I said confidently. Leo's smirk made me nervous. "I dare you to......Kiss Raph." I froze. "What?!" We both shouted at once. "B-but.....We're just friends...." Raph shutters. "Unless you two want to-" My eyes widened and I crashed my lips into Raphs. Butterflies flew in my stomach, then I pulled away.

"You happy Leo?" He smirked, at the dazed Raphael. "Very." He said. I rolled my eyes, and the game went on. As Raph walked me home that day, we were unusually silent. I looked up at him. "You ok?" I asked. He glanced at me. "Hmm? Oh, yeah. I'm fine." I put my hand on his arm stopping him. "Don't lir to me, Raph." 

I looked deep into his electric green eyes. "Don't lie to me." I repeated. His eyes held sadness, lust and love. "Skye..." He looked away. "Its nothing Skye. Really." I sighed. "I hate seeing you like this." He looked at me. "Like what?" I sighed. "You uncomfortable. And especially around me. I'm your best friend. Your supposed to trust me."

I looked away so he couldn't see the tears that were forming in my eyes. "Skye, I do trust you!" He touched my shoulder, but I pulled away. "Try talking to me when I'm worthy of your trust." I spat, and walked off. 

Raph's P.O.V

Now I've done it! We've been friends for years, now I've blew it! I am the worst friend ever. I should have just told her the truth. I'm in love with her, my best friend. When I felt her lips on mine, my heart exploded. I didn't tell her. Now she hates me.....And I've probably lost my best friend.
