Chapter 16

Jc pulls through all the people and we finally make it to the front yard. He lets go of me and faces me. "Are you sure you're okay?" Jc asks. "Jc, you don't have to worry. I'm completely fine.. I just wanna go home. Can you drive me?" Jc shakes his head. "Yeah" We head to his car, we get inside. Jc starts the car and reverses out of the driveway. I roll down my window and my hair starts blowing in the wind. I feel Jc's hand touching my thigh and I ignore it. "Hey, do you wanna go somewhere with me real quick?" I turn my head and look at him. "Um, it's 10:30 pm and I'm wearing a bunny costume.." He comes to a stop light and reaches into the back seat and grabs a gray adidas hoodie. "Here, you can wear this so you don't get cold.. Now will you go with me?" I grab the jacket out of his hand and put it on. "Yeah, I guess." I say. The light turned green and we went.

We have been driving for about 5 minutes. Suddenly the car starts shaking. I look at the road and there isn't one, we are on a gravel road. "Just wait one more minute. We are almost there." Jc says. He starts slowing down and parks his car in front of a bush. "Um, you took me to see a bush?" I say confused as I pointed to it. Jc climbs out of the car and walks toward the bush. "Are you coming or not?" I get out of the car and stick my hands into the pocket of Jc's jacket. I finally get to where Jc is standing. He takes his arm and sticks it into to bush to move the branches and leaves. There is an opening and I crouch as I walk though it. He walks right behind me, I stand straight up and turn to see Jc smiling at me. "Stop looking at me. Turn around" I do as he says, and it's the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. We are looking down at all of LA, all the lights are stunning. "Jc, this place is gorgeous" I say as I sit down near the edge. "Yeah, I come up here to get away from things.. It's very quiet and peaceful up here." Jc sits next to me. "It is quiet. I like it, a lot." I continue. "But why did you bring me here?" I ask. "Um. I don't know really. I guess I just figured after everything that happened this could help you clear your head.." Jc says as he scoots a little closer to me. I sit there, I shuffle over a little bit so Jc isn't as close. "How did you find this place?" I turn to look at him. "I was driving and I stumbled upon it. Ever since i come up here whenever I need to."

I grab my phone and look at the time, it's 11 pm. "Jc, it's getting pretty late. Maybe we should get going." I say as I stand back up. I turn and stand in front of him, holding out my hand telling him that I'll help him up. "Yeah, maybe we should." Jc grabs my hand, he starts to get up and he ends up pulling me down. I land on top of him. "Now I know the reason why you wanted to get to your house." He says with a smirk. "Trust me, I don't want you." I say. I get up and move off of him. "You do, I can tell, plus you are wearing a sexy bunny costume and came onto me." He says while leaning up. "I didn't come at you. You pulled me on top of you Jc." I get back on to my feet and didn't help Jc because I didn't want to repeat that again. I walk through the bushes and get to his car. I hear the bush move as Jc walks through it. Jc gets into the car and we head to my place.

We get to my place. "Do you want me to go in with you for a minute?" Jc asks. I look at him "sure, I guess." We both get out of his car and head to the front door. I unlock the door and we both walk in. He walks through the door first, I close and lock it. Jc stands there as I'm already 4 stairs up. "Are you coming or?" I ask. He quickly looks up at me and walks up the stairs with me. We both get into my room. I close the door and turn the light on. I walk to my dresser and grab shorts, a tank top, and socks. I walk to the door and grab the doorknob. "Where are you going?" Jc asks. "I'm going to change. Why?" I respond. "I thought you would've changed in your room but I guess not." He says. "I usually do put you're in here." I open the door and get into the bathroom. I lock the door and take off Jc's hoodie and my costume. I put my pajamas on a slip back on his jacket. I unlock the door and walk back into my room. Jc is sitting on my bed. "So I guess you like my hoodie, huh?" He says. "Yeah, it's comfortable." I say while I plop down on my bed. "I'm never going to get it back." Jc says. "Nope." I flash a big smile. "Fine" Jc groans.

I get up and get under my covers. Jc sits there and stares at me for a few seconds. Jc clears his throat. "Um, I think I'll get going." He says, he gets up off my bed. "You don't have to if you don't wanna." I say. "Um. Are you okay?" He asks. "Uh, i just don't feel like being alone." I respond. "If I stay what am I gonna wear? I'm not sleeping in a football costume." He says. "I have a giant pair of sweat pants, if you wanna borrow those." I respond. He looks down and smiles at me. "Ugh fine. Only since your begging me." I point to my dresser. "Third drawer, on the left" he bends down and grabs the sweat pants. He takes off his football costume. His body is so hot. I snap myself out of it. 'You don't like him, you only asked him to stay because you didn't wanna be alone.' He slips on my sweat pants. He walks to the other side of my bed and climbs in. I turn on my side and switch off the light. It's dark, I can't see my hand if I move it right in front of my face. I turn so I'm not facing Jc. I feel him moving around a little and I feel his arms wrap around me and they pull me closer. I can feel his breath on my ear. "I hope you're okay with cuddling." He whispers. "Only tonight Caylen" I whisper back. The next thing I knew I was fast asleep.
