"Hey, Ches, guess what."

"What?"

"I love you." He smirked and Chester playfully slapped his shoulder.

"You're so cheesy!" He exclaimed, giggling. "But I love you too, dummy."

"I may be a dummy but you're an adorable little shit," Mike smiled. The two were laying in bed together and hadn't gone to bed yet, though it was the middle of the night.

"Well this adorable little shit is glad to be dummy's adorable little shit," Chester smiled and yawned.

"Are you tired? We can sleep," Mike said in a soft voice, afraid of being too loud for Chester.

"What time is it?" He asked and Mike grabbed his phone to look at the clock.

"Half passed midnight."

"I'm surprised I'm tired. This used to be around the time everything would...happen," He frowned and Mike put an arm over his small body to rub his back.

"We can talk about it," Mike said, closing his eyes and pressing his forehead against Chester's he was more tired than he thought he was.

"I'll open up to you someday, Mike, just not now..." He murmured and Mike let out a tired sigh. "You know, I think it's weird how much I love you, considering I don't actually know much about you."

"You'll know more in time, Chaz," Mike chuckled, feeling himself grow exhausted.

"Go to sleep, Mikey. I'll follow you into your dream world," He giggled and Mike didn't need to be told twice.

"I don't know if I want to..."

"Come on, Ches! It'll be fun!"

"Okay, fine," Chester sighed, caving. Mike was trying to convince Chester to allow him to read his tarot cards to predict his past, present, and future.

"We'll do it the really basic way! Shuffle the cards, just basic like, and spread them across the floor. The first one you pick will be present, second past, and third future."

"Okay..." Chester said hesitantly. He shuffled them and spread them across the floor. He decided not to put much thought into it and picked the first one, placing it away from the others. He put the second to it's left, third to the right. He looked to Mike, who flipped each card around.

"I'll have to look up the meaning because I can't remember by heart," he explained and took out his phone. He was ready in an instant. "Your present says Ace of Cups. That means new connection, relationship, love. Emotional happiness. Conception."

"I suppose that's true," Chester giggled as Mike blushed violently. He moved on to the next one.

"Your past is moon eighteen. Confusion, distraction, deceptive circumstances, losing one's way, distorted perception, poor mental health. Need to use intuition to get back on track. Cycles, currents, tides," Mike looked to Chester, who was slightly nodding.

"Continue."

"Your future is Lovers six. Love, sex, relationships. Choices, life-changing decisions," Mike was blushing the moment he mentioned sex and almost couldn't read the rest of the way through. When he looked up, Chester was smirking and he bursted into giggles.

"You're so immature!" Mike said defensively, which only made Chester laugh harder.

"Look who's talking!" He exclaimed in return and grinned as Mike groaned in defeat.

~

"Okay, guys, this is Chester... Don't do or say what you have before..." Mike warned his friends who were bubbling with excitement. They were far too ready to meet him. Chester, who was beside Mike, rolled his eyes, not expecting them to react much to his presence.

"OH MY GOD YOU'RE ADORABLE!" Phoenix yelled immediately after Mike stopped talking.

"You're so precious!" Rob squealed and Chester flinched.

"I ship you and Mike!" Brad cheered, making Mike blush, which had become a usual since Chester came into his life.

"Can I please lick your arm?" Joe asked casually and Mike grabbed Chester's hand, slowly leading him away from the group before lifting him up, putting him over his shoulder, and running away from his friends.

~

"Okay, now that you have met my friends, let's never talk to anyone ever again because they're all crazy," Mike laughed as they walked down their main street. Chester giggled but stopped when the two were approached by two girls around their age.

"Hi, Mike. This must be Chester," Anna looked him up and down, not sure what to think. She thought he was cute but still had a raging crush on Mike. Talinda flirtatiously batted her eyelashes and smiled.

"Hi, boys. How are you two?" She asked them both but only looked to Chester, not even noticing Mike outside of verbal action.

"Good," Mike replied sourly, wanting to take Chester away from them and hide him so he could have Chester all to himself.

"Alright," Chester said softly and Talinda started to blush.

"You know... We could both go-" She stopped when Mike had leaned towards Chester and kissed his lips firmly and she decided it best to close her mouth when Chester responded back to it gratefully. The two girls turned and walked away when they didn't break apart. When they finally did, Mike smirked.

"Was she flirting with me?" Chester asked, rubbing his head.

"Yup," Mike laughed when Chester grimaced. "But it's okay because I'm here. She won't even get a chance to ask you out when I'm around."

"Does Anna like you?" He asked and Mike nodded. "Oh."

"But there's nothing to worry about there. The only one for me is you!" He grinned brightly and kissed Chester's soft cheek. He was just too sweet. Mike couldn't get enough of him. "Let's go home."

Mike felt himself so lucky to have Chester. So many people were obsessed with him but he chose Mike out of everyone else. He wanted to do everything to keep the boy safe and his. He'd do anything to see that face light up and smile broaden from ear to ear. Chester loved Mike just as much as he loved him and the two couldn't be happier. Though Chester's past creates hurdles, Mike is ready to jump them and tackle anyone who stands in the way in the process. Their love for each other was as pure and as rich as golden snow.
