How stupid am I? very stupid apparently. Why can I never control myself. I sat up slapping my face and dragging my skin down in annoyance then saw my brother. Something in my mind lit up and I stood walking over to him with a smile. A ray of hope… It’s small but it’s there. I stood behind my brothers chair and saw how his body shook before he flipped his head around cutting his conversation with his friends.

“Big bro…?” I tried to sound cute tilting my head to the side and swaying back and forth on my feet with my hands behind me.

“Uh…” The look on his face was almost priceless. His eyes were wide and his hands were shaking. He sighed relaxing his body and shook his head.

“What is it this time?” He asked putting his sandwich on the table he stepped towards me and I turned taking him over to where Jean was standing.

“Well first of all this is Jean. Jean this is my big bro.” Jean glanced at him and for a reason beyond my comprehension they began to glare at each other. I could almost feel their hatred for each other.

“I know him.” She hissed.

“I know you.” He replied. I took a step back and chuckled then sighed letting my head slump. I felt heat burn my back and I turned my head glimpsing as others turned theirs and whispered to each other. I glared an angry growl rising in my throat when my brother clicked his fingers at my ear. I turned to him.

“So you started a fight with Clare.” I glared at him a clenching my hands.

“Why does everyone know that?!” It came out harsher than I intended.

“Well what did you expect? She’s the principles daughter.” I felt my body freeze. Pr- Pr- Principles daughter?! It took me a while to breath out hot air again.

“He announced that today was her birthday this morning in the assembly. Oh wait that’s right! You weren’t listening!” He began laughing and I growled at him kicking his shin. He glared at me with the same amount of anger as I did.

“You must be Lilith.” It was a smooth an almost too smooth voice that came from behind me and I turned slowly. My breath caught in my throat and my heart pounded against my lungs. It was him. Oh my gawd! He knows my name! He called me by my name! The man of my dreams just said my name! Let’s replay that “You must be Lilith.” KYA!! I could die right now!
