Summer's POV:

I abused the snooze button as much as humanely possible, until the twins, Erena and Aniya came in to wake me up. I shoved on my converse, any top, black jeans and a scarf I think remotely matches.

It didn't matter anyway because I play football before, in and after school so I'll look like a mess anyway. Only one of my friends shares the same passion as me; Joe.
The rest of my friends are all about looking good. Ew. I glanced at the clock.
If I want to play, I've got to go... NOW!

"She shoots... she scooores!" Joe's hurt his foot so he's sitting out these few matches. I say Joe hurt his foot. I mean I hurt his foot. Last week, my cricket bat went crashing down on his foot, by accident.

It was a long game with my cousins in my garden and they were making fun of me because I'm a girl.
So, pretty much without realising, I put my bat down very quickly (in anger) to start my speech and unaware of Joe's foot underneath crushed it.

He's being very understanding and says he doesn't mind. Now he's just being the commentator in our football games.

Hayley, an annoying, boy desperate, 'queen bee' of some sorts, is running across the pitch. I'm pretty sure she thinks we're living in a movie. She sits down, next to Joe and I see her point out (much) taller than me, guy. He walks up to me.

He has nice hair. Over to one side of his head. Very soft looking. Green eyes, long lashes. Almost perfectly clear, slightly tanned skin. Small mouth and a kind of sleepy voice.
"Hey, I'm Ali-Nooh."

Me and Aniqa showed Ali-Nooh how to get to our English class seeing as he's new.
"We're going to the library today." Mrs. Fineheimer informed us before walking off to the teachers lounge. We all made our way to the library and messed around seeing as it is Monday and it's only open to the seniors.

My class are the ones who got held back a year. We've been held back a year even though we are quite clever because of our teacher's lack of interest in our education. Only the people who really worked hard without the teachers passed. Whatever.

Ali-Nooh sat next to the nicer, more popular boys. Yes, popularity still exists in the senior year. Well, he got into that group quickly. Me, Aniqa, Alina, Ella, Mia and Aria sat opposite them. We were friends with them, you could say.

We were friends with anyone who didn't annoy us. I listened to the boys' conversation. Ali-Nooh used to go to a school in San Francisco then he moved here, to New York.

He's half Egyptian and half Lebanese. Like me. I guess it explains our devilish good looks. Did I just call him good-looking?
Erm, no I didn't.
Shut up.

Summer and Ali-Nooh have met! Who's your favourite character so far? I'm liking Summer if I may say so myself. Also, who's POV would you like? Let me know in the comments. Also, don't forget to vote, comment and share. Or don't. Byee x
