Summer's POV:
I slowly got up at 6am and walked into the bathroom. Ibrahim was still asleep. There was a huge red mark on my cheek. I began to cry quietly and simply with my hair down, pyjamas on and a coat, I ran just outside the front garden to Ali-Nooh's garden.
"I missed you. Ibrahim didn't let me visit yesterday. Did you enjoy the snow? I did. I like the snow because it reminds me of you. It's so pure and gentle. Like you. Unlike Ibrahim. Did I tell you? He slapped me yesterday. But maybe I deserved it. Either way, I don't want to leave him because I'm scared. Scared without him and scared with him. Bye, I love you!"
I slowly got up and walked back home. I've been going to his grave for 2 years. 2 whole years. I'll never stop loving Ali-Nooh Rasool.
To my complete and utter shock, Ibrahim was already awake. I started to shake and he came over.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" He said.
"I thought you would be angry at me for visiting Ali-Nooh."
'You were visiting HIM? You went to the graveyard?" He said, now, so quickly. I slowly nodded."When will you get over him? He's DEAD! GONE, NEVER COMING BACK. ALI DEAD. LOVE ME, you can't love a rotting corpse." He said.
I sobbed at his cruel words. And just like yesterday, he slapped me again.
"I'm not your punchbag!"
"I'm not punching you." He smirked.
"Oh f*** off!" I exclaimed and walked out of the room and into the bathroom. I grabbed my clothes, got under the shower and thought about Ibrahim. Why is he doing this? Why is he so bipolar? Why is he annoyed at my grieving? He always says he cares so much for me, that he loves me, that he WORKED hard for me! He obviously didn't if he's willing to treat me like this.
It's been a week and I've stopped mentioning Ali-Nooh and even going to his grave because everytime I do, I get a fresh bruise or scar. I don't deny him anything and act madly in love. I'm scared of the power he has that he's warned me about.
How do you feel?
