Hey guys. So, some of you guys messaged me saying you wanted a Q&A to clear up clues and events that happened in the book. So I'm simply going to answer some questions you messaged or commented. I won't mention names because a lot of the questions were the same from a lot of different people.
1) WHY IS THE BOOK CALLED GONE, NEVER COMING BACK?
Haha, I could never make up my mind. There were lots of little reasons in random chapters but mostly because in the last chapter and epilogue it helped me create an almost sad ending. Throughout the book, Summer said Ali-Nooh was gone and never coming back but at the end even though they weren't dead, they were both gone.
2) Was there any foreshadowing on Ibrahim being evil and Ali-Nooh's death being fake?
Well, I did try.A) When Ali-Nooh was in a coma and he made progress, the 'doctor' would inject him with something which, before he 'died' caused him to start convulsing.
B) Ibrahim was very jealous of Ali because he knew he wasn't really gone.
C) Summer decided to keep her and Ali's engagement ring on her proper ring finger which was meant to say he is still her husband, hinting he could still be alive.
D) Summer constantly visiting Ali's grave was because she couldn't find closure, seeing as he was still alive.
E) Ibrahim was simply very bipolar because of his mental state.
F) Ali's father (Rasool) organised his funeral instead of Summer meaning he could have made sure no one saw the non-existent body.
G) Summer was very close to looking at Ali's 'body' in the hospital but I made her turn back.
There were lots of little clues in people's words that I can't really remember but those were the major clues up there.
3) How do you set the perfect mood for writing? How do you find motivation?
I get some food, put on my favourite songs and write. My motivation comes from all of your lovely comments and messages aswell as votes x
4) Do you ever plan on revisiting #sumali?
No, as much as I do love them, I don't feel like there are any juicy story lines for 30+ year old #sumali. I do doubt it but maybe one day I could write about Amelia or Haider.
5) Do you love Musa and Dina or Summer and Ali-Nooh?
Well... Summer and Ali-Nooh because these two have been through hell and back together.
6) Who is your favourite character out of all of your own books?
Summer. Summer is a strong, tomboy and really weird.
7) Did you cry when writing this book?
Yes, when finishing it (obviously) and when Ali-Nooh and Rasool died.
8) Is Rasool really dead?
Yes, sadly enough, he is. R.I.P Rasool.
9) Future Wattpad plans?
Well, I'll finish off Finding Me, edit Gone, Never Coming Back and whenever an idea hits me for a book, I'll simply write it but right now I don't have any ideas for a book except from my new book, Little Things.
10) Who is this entire book dedicated to?
It started off being dedicated to just PopcornSweetcorn because she's simply amazing. Now its
PopcornSweetcorn for supporting a smaller writer and being a brilliant friend.
AASIAkhalif for always reading and commenting and being a brilliant friend.
sabrinali369 for being a brilliant friend and always being there for my book and me.
Prude_and_proud for being an evilly amazing friend and for loving my characters so much. So, for now I'm gone but coming back soon... Bye x
