A/N Bear in mind, that the first few chapters are a little short, but they will get longer!
Jesslyn's POV.
"Ma'am, we're here." I wake up to the bus driver shaking me. I smile, thanking him. I grab my backpack, and walk to the front of the bus. I get off the bus, only to fall onto someone, but luckily that person caught me. Oh my, not even an elephant is as clumsy as me!
"I am so sorry." I say, getting out of their arms. I looks up, to see one of the most beautifully crafted boys god has ever created. Brown scruffy hair. Greenish eyes. Tall, well built. Oh my....
"No, I should have been more careful..." He trails on. Well, this is getting awkward.
"I'm Jesslyn." I say awkwardly, tucking a strand of my brown hair behind my ear.
"Jesslyn. I like that name. I'm Luke. I would have stayed and talked a bit more or at least help you with your stuff, but I'm kinda in a hurry. But we'll see each other soon." Luke says rushing off, after he smiled a perfect smile. Oh my, he said we'll see each other soon!
Oh my goodness! I sigh dreamily, turning to get my suitcases. I thank the bus driver as he hands them to me, before looking around for the office. Hmm... Oh, there it is. Only about 200 meters away. Yay! Note the sarcasm. I sigh, pulling my suitcase behind me. I look around me as I walk to the main office, smiling to myself.
How did I end up here? I'm just plain old me; Jesslyn McCarty. The only daughter to Marissa and Dave McCarthy. God, I miss them so much already. I'm from Sydney, Australia. Born and raised there! And now look, I'm practically on the other side of the world. In Miami, Florida. God, I'm so excited! Plus, there are going to be hot guys! I meant... I didn't say that!
I'm here because I got a scholarship into Hailton Private Boarding College. It's one of the best schools in the world. I've always wanted to go here, especially after some stuff that had happened a few years ago... and now look, here I am! The school excels in pretty much everything, from maths to sports, music to English. Pretty much everything, yup. So since it's such a good school, it's only expected that it's be so expensive.
Okay, expensive is an understatement. It is very (just times that by 150!) expensive. No wonder I had to get a scholarship to get in, or Mum and Dad would have gone broke to pay just my entrance fee! Uh huh, it's very expensive. But yeah, my scholarship... It's more like a sports scholarship. Sadly, my brain isn't that smart. I would expect an ant to be smarter than me. Actually, ants are very smart creatures. They- right, got distracted. Back to what I was talking about before.
I tried for three years to get in with a scholarship. The first time I got the official rejection speech, I was crying. The next time I didn't come out of my room for a week. By the third time, I mouthed the official rejection speech, from start to finish. So obviously, my brain wasn't getting me very far with trying to get a scholarship. Nopity nope.
So the next year, I tried out for a sports scholarship. I'm a swimmer. I love swimming. And the fact that most guys who are swimmers have broad shoulders and abs and- Hehe... I didn't mean to say that... Anyway, I've been in water practically my whole life. It's like the only time when I'm not clumsy. If I could live in water, oh my, that would be fudging wonderful! But yeah... nope. But back to the topic. Thanks to my swimming skills, I finally got a scholarship. I think I even screamed when I got told I got it.
Only down side is that I have to leave behind Ester, my best friend, and Lukeypoo (Oh my, I met a Luke today! Hehe), my cousin. Him and I are really close, and his three best mates too. In fact, I think one of them likes Ester, after I introduced him to her! Match making by me! It won't be too long till Ester calls me screaming that they're together. Oh, if only I could have a boyfriend. Preferably a hot one. Oh my, Jesslyn, you did not just say that. Nope, I did not. Psh, no! I came here to create a future. But a hot boyfriend could lead to being a husband, therefore my future. Jesslyn! Stop! Okay, fine.

أدب المراهقينMeet Jesslyn McCarthy. Not a complete good girl, she has her fair share of tales to shares, but nothing too intense. And definitely not a nerd (not with her much attention needed maths grades!). Her plan for the new year was to focus on her swimming...
