Jesslyn's POV.
I'm in the office right now, waiting for my new pass to be printed of for me. And by this rate, I'll be a granny when I get!
"Can you please help me get my spare keys? It's in the office, but the lady there will go nuts if I try to get them!" A girl asks me. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. Typical blonde. Something about her is sketchy though. Now, I really don't want to help, but hey, I'd rather not make enemies already!
"Um, sure." I say.
"Cool. So, go behind that door, and it'll have a cupboard with tons of keys. Then, in box 13, there'll be keys, just grab them. I'll distract the lady here!" The blonde explains, while I nod. She walks over to the lady, and starts talking to her.
So I take this chance to sneak into the office, and slowly walk through the door. Hmm, where's the cupboard? Oh right, it's right there. Number 13..... there it is! I grab it, sliding it into my pocket. I take a peek outside, making sure the lady is still being distracted.
Sure enough, the lady was. Once I was out, I walk past the girl, and outside. She follows me outside, and I hold the keys out for her. She grabs them and walks off.
Excuse me young lady, no thank you for me? What a meanie!
I go back inside, and wait for my pass to be printed out. Once I finally got it which was like fifteen minutes later, I walk back to my dorm. Man, this is a long walk!
"Did you get it?" Rae asks, as I close the door to our dorm when I got back.
"Uh huh." I reply, putting it on my desk, when there's a knock on the door. Since Rae was on her laptop on her bed, I decided to get the door.
"Yes?" I ask a man in security uniform.
"Come with me. Principal wants to see you now." He says, and I nod. As we walk to the head masters office, I start to freak out. Have I done something wrong? Maybe he's just welcoming me. But what if I have done something wrong? Then what? The security tells me to sit outside the office, and wait. I take deep breaths. I'm really freaking out.
"Come in." I hear a voice say, and I gulp, opening the door.
"Ah, Miss McCarthy, just the person I've been looking for." The principal says. Oh dear. He doesn't sound very happy.
"We haven't been formally introduced, I'm Cory Anderson, to you known as Mr Anderson." He says, and all I can do is nod.
"Now, we have a little problem here. One of the trophy cabinets have been unlocked." He says in a monotone voice.
"And it appears that the keys for it have gone missing." Raising an eyebrow. Oh my. What have I done?
"Care to explain? Or I will have to call up your parents?" He says, and that makes me freak out more. My parents would go ballistic if they found out.
"Look, it really wasn't my fault. This girl, she asked me if I could sneak in and get the spare keys to her dorm. That's why." I say quickly.
"Yes, that girl being Mia Reselle. But why would you do it?" He asks.
"Because she said it was her dorm key. And I didn't want to make enemies on my first day!" I exclaim.
"Her dorm keys? Then why would she have got you to sneak in and get them?" Oh my chocolate pudding, stupid Jesslyn.
"Oh please, I didn't mean to! Please don't call my parents, they'll have me on the next flight back to Australia!" I exclaim, feeling as if I might cry.
"Dad, I think you should give her a chance. Don't call her parents." A voice behind me say. Wait, what? I turn back, to see Luke! Oh my, he heard the whole thing. Wait, DAD??? Sweet lollies, his dad is the principal!
"And if anyone should get in trouble, it's Mia." He explains, sticking up for me! Ahhh! I mean, thank god. Mr Anderson sighs.
"You're let of the hook this time, but make sure this doesn't happen again. Because you won't be so lucky." Can a principal sound any scarier?
"Yes. I'm very sorry." I say, as I turn out and walk out, with Luke following me. I hear the door close, and I lunge for Luke.
"Thank you so much." I say, hugging him, and wait what? HUGGING? I quickly pulled away, blushing.
"Oh my, I am so sorry." I exclaim, my cheeks burning. Luke laughs. God, he is perfection, brown scruffy hair, perfect smile, dimples, and I could go on forever.
"It's okay. My dad, he has a thing for scaring students off like that. Your Jesslyn right? The one I bumped into today?" He asks, and I nod. I swear, this boy has only witnessed embarrassing moments of me.
"So what were you doing there?" I ask, trying to hide my blush.
"Oh, I was waiting for my brother. We're going out of town for a bit to get costumes for a party tomorrow." He explains. Wait a minute, this perfect guy has a brother? How do I not know this? Oh wait, that's right, I've haven't even been here for a full day.
"Sorry bro, Lindy wanted more of me, I literally had to push her off me" A voice says behind us. I turn back to see... JACKSON?
Oh my god, I MIGHT FAINT RIGHT NOW. That.... thing is Luke's brother? What the fudge happened to him, compared to Luke?
"Hold up, when I heard someone stole the keys for the trophy cabinet, I didn't expect it'd be you Jesslyn baby." Jackson says, smirking. As usual.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Luke asks, his eye brows scrunch up in confusion.
"Yup." Jackson says, before I can say NO.
"She wanted me so bad, she literally pushed me onto the floor and got on top of me." Jackson states, smirking. I gasp.
"I DID NOT! You just happened to come out of a room oh so suddenly, right when I was walking by, making me fall on top of you!" I exclaim in fury. How dare he say that? He's making me sound bad.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. We have to go baby doll, but don't worry, you'll see me soon." Jackson says, winking, before walking off. I swear I want to rip his head off.
"Bye Jesslyn." Luke says, smiling. Oh his smile, I could melt!
"See ya" I say, smiling, as I walk back to my dorm. And once again, my mind is on Jackson, and how much of a jerk he is. And of course, Luke! Luke is like perfect, and.... oh right, I'm supposed to be mad! Stupid Jackson, him and his smirk, and...
It just never ends, does it?
