Jesslyn's POV.
It's been one day since I arrived. One day since I met Luke. And Jackson. And my roomie Rae! And how I got nearly got in trouble with the principal. I hate Mia. That liar. She's such a meanie. I'm the one who got in trouble the most, not her, and it was really her idea and everything.
Ugh. I think she's just as bad as Jackson. Talking about Jackson, oh my god. Luke! He is like perfect. And he practically saved me. How can such a beautiful specimen of human be related to something quite the opposite? I wonder sometimes.
"So what? You nearly got in trouble, instead of her?" Rae asks, and I nod grumpily. I'm still mad about yesterday.
"I always knew she was a bi-....a female dog." She corrects herself when she sees the look I'm giving her. I really do not like swearing. It's only there when I'm really angry, upset or hurt.
"Are there any other witches like her I should look out for?" I ask.
"Abigail Tresemme. She has a hair product company after her name. Filthy rich. And she's a skank. Sleeps with every guy. Except for those who actually have a brain. I hate her." Rae says with disgust. We keep walking, Rae trying to cheer me up.
"Oh my god, I love Tresemme hair products! I actually use it myself! It's so good! I mean... um.. sorry. But it is true!" I say sheepishly, while Rae rolls her eyes. We keep walking.
"Once, I was..." Rae talks, but I stop paying attention when I see a girl wearing white short, a beautiful top, walking in front of us, about 15 meters away. Wow, she has lovely beautiful black hair and- Oh my. That poor girl.
I see a bunch of guys snickering at her. I go up to guys and tell them to piss off.
"Why should we babe?" One of them asks me, smirking. Eww. His smirk is weird. Jackson's smirk is way better, and that's saying something, since I don't like Jackson.
"Cause I said to. You guys are just plain mean. I bet none of you have girlfriends. Well, no wonder why! You guys are all such an ass. So if you want to get married before you need a walking stick, you guys should seriously get over your little egos!" I snap, leaving them dumbfounded, before I quickly walk up to the girl, leaving Rae dumbfounded at the whole situation.
"Um, I think you should, um, just turn around a bit." I say to her, making her back face the wall.
"What's going on?" She asks, totally confused.
"Um, I think you should, um.... You're on your period. You have a stain." I blurt out. Her face started to blush.
"Oh my. Oh god. Thank you so much. Now I know why those guys were laughing at me when I walked past them. Oh my god, thank you. But do you mind walking right behind me to the toilets?" She asks, and I nod smiling.
I turn to Rae, and she glares at me. Whoa there tiger, what did I do? I'll ask her after.
I walk right behind the girl, until we reached the bathrooms. She quickly went into a stall, and came back out, wearing black shorts.
"You saved me from such humility. How can I repay you? What about lunch? My treat!" She says, and I nod smiling. Anything to do with food, and I'll be there! I smile at Rae, but she's still mad about something. What could ever be the matter?
"So... Oh, I'm Abigail Tresseme... but you guys can call me Abi, since you practically saved me!" She said in a cheery tone. Oh. That's why Rae's mad. This is Abigail. But she seems so nice! I introduce myself and Rae, while Rae forces a smile.
We walk to a fancy restaurant, and oh my, I would go broke to buy entrée from here!
"So, did you guys want pasta? It's the best!" Abigail says, and Rae and I nod.
"So, tell me about yourself." Abi says, and I tell her all about me. Rae doesn't seem to want to open up much. I wish she'd give Abi a chance.
Abi is actually pretty nice. She isn't stuck up like Rae described her, or anything like that. Her dad and mom are very rich, and she bought her way into Hailton. She admits she does sleep around a bit with guys, but not a lot. But what really bothers her is the fact that she doesn't really have any girl friends. I actually feel bad for her.
"Well, don't worry, Rae and I are here!" I say, making her smile.
Abi tries talking to Rae, and Rae starts to be a little bit more social with her. Yay!
"So, any guys who have caught your attention yet?" Abi asks, wiggling her eyebrows as we eat pasta. I swear I'm dying, this pasta is fabulous!
"Um, well..." I stutter. Considering Abi opened up to me and Rae pretty quickly, I felt as if I had to do the same. And she seems really nice, even though Rae doesn't think so
"Go on!" Abi says, eating her pasta, while Rae picks at her food. If she's not going to have that, I will.
"There's this one guy. He's really sweet, and nice, and oh my god, he is hot- I mean... that wasn't supposed to come out! And he saved me from getting in trouble. I swear I could be in love. If you get what I me-" I get cut off by Abi.
"It's Luke Anderson, isn't it? Every girl who comes here, I swear, he's the first guy they all notice!" She asks smiling. Oh my, I think I'm blushing.
"Oh my god, it is! OMG! We're good friends, and- I'll set you two up! Hmm... going for the principal's son! Ohh, I like it!" Abi laughs, making Rae laugh too.
"Hmm, oh my gosh! There's this costume party tonight in my building, and he's coming! Oh my god, you have to come, and you too Rae. Me and Rae will dress you all up, making you look really pretty! I mean, not that you aren't pretty already. But you know, right Rae?" Abi asks Rae, and I can see Rae trying not to smile, but completely and utterly fails, while nodding.
"Yeah, we will." Rae says, and I smile.
"Hmmm, it's already, oh my god, we need to hurry, it's already 3:30, we're going to have to rush to get you ready!" Abi says, dragging me and Rae out the front door, leaving money for the food on the table.
"But the food!" I whine watching as the food gets taken away by a waitress. I really liked that pasta, don't judge, I love food.
The next chapter will be a lot more interesting than this chapter, pinky promise with a cherry on the top!
