~three days later~
I tried to catch my breath as I ran to and fro between rooms in the bunkers. Almost everyone on board had caught the virus. I appear to be one of the two who seems to be immune to said illness.
Of course, with my big heart I tried to hard when it came to helping my crew. But I was mostly worried about the captain herself. She had been sleeping a lot and due to her being sick, she was overly hateful.
I walked into Daneil, Jareth, and Tim's room. "How are ye, boys?" I asked, looking between the three. I received incoherent groans from Tim and Jareth but Daniel looked up at me. "D-Domo... I need s-some water...." He spoke. I nodded and walked out, going to the storage room. I grabbed three 1 pint jugs and walked back to their room. "Here ya go." I handed one jug to each of them. Tim threw his to the side, while Jareth unwillingly uncapped and sipped the liquid. Daniel, however, chugged the whole bottle.
"Thank you..." He said, clearly. Daniel was a strong man, who hardly got sick. To see him like this... It broke my heart. "Yer welcome. If any of ya need me, just holler."
I walked out and bumped into Solice. Other than me, Solice was the only other one who hadn't gotten sick. "Sorry..." She muttered, as she quickly walked past me.
Odd. Solice is normally more happier than this. Is she okay? I thought.
I decided to see what she was up to, and followed her. She walked down the main hall, and took a left. The only thing down that hall is the captain's room...
What is she doin'?
I stealthily walked at the same speed as her, only about ten feet behind. She walked into the captain's quarters and I could hear her knock on the cap's bedroom door.
I stopped behind the quarter's doorframe and listened.
"W-Who is it?" I could faintly hear. Which that question was followed by a hard, and scratchy cough. I cringed.
"It's me." Solice said, softly.
I didn't hear anything after that, but I saw that Solice opened the door. What the hell? Maybe she's just worried...
I decided I would wait a few minutes and then knock on the door, as if I were checking on the Captain.
I stood after waiting and walked to the door, hesitating before I knocked. "Who are Ye?" I heard Solice ask. "Er...it's Domo.. Is this a bad time?" I asked, acting as if I had no clue she was in there. "Eh? C'mon in." I walked in and saw that Solice had a bright blue bottle in her hand. It looked as if it glowed.
After looking questioningly at it, Solice nodded. "Ah. Are you wonderin what this is?" She held it up. I nodded as I looked at the Captain who was being unusually quiet.
"It's a serum I received from a sea witch when I was a girl. It's supposed to cure anything. So I asked the captain if I could give it to her and see since I still have it. And if it works, we can stop at the witch's shack for the whole crew!"
I froze. What if that was the same sea witch that Kat was talking about? The one who made her uncles life monitorable... In a stone.
"May it have been that her name was Circe?" I asked, penetrating my stare into her eyes.
Solice looked as if she had seen a ghost and went pale.
"Y-yes..."
