"So give me the details of the trip....everything!" I said to my handsome boyfriend after school.

"Well, we will be leaving the first day of your winterbreak, which is a Saturday. At 12:00 PM I will pick you up and meet the family at the airport, the plane leaves at 2. I'm so excited. And we can share a hotel room if you prefer...or whatever. We will leave not that Friday, but the following, so you will have Saturday and Sunday before school comes back." he said. Then he smiled, which lagit made me melt!!! WOW, I was a SOFTY!!

"So, my parents leave Thursday, so I can leave that Saturday. THEN they come back the Tuesday after school starts, so FABULOUS! And ofcourse we are sharing a hotel room, this is HAWAII! So who all is coming?"

"My brother can't make it, he and his girlfriend are going to spend the holidays with her family. My sister is coming with a friend of hers, and my Mom and Pop's!"

"SOUNDS GREAT!" I said. I kissed his lips. Then I let go quickly because there was a knock on the door. He said "who is it" because it was after school hours and...well this is a public school!

"Hey um its Addie Carmen's!" my MOM'S voice said!!!!! I ran and hid in the storage closet. Steve opened the door.

"Mrs. Carmens, nice to see you. May I help you?" he said.

"Yes, um I came by to apologize about the other day wih my husband and I."

"Oh, please, please. NO need to apologize, just simple confusion." he said. Then she sat down on his desk. What the heck was she thinking??

"So um, how is Julianna doing in the class?"

"She is improving! She made a B on the last test which brought her grade up." he said. Then Mom took her hand and put it on his face. OMG?? Was she flirting....Not only was she flirting with my teacher, but she was flirting with MY BOYFRIEND!

"You know, your not bad looking for a teacher." she said getting closer. Then she slowly went in toward his face. I couldn't watch! I HAD TO DO SOMETHING!!

"woah, woah. um.." finally, Steve said pushing her off the desk. "Your married Addie, and well...what are you thinking?"

"I'M thinking, I'm attracted to you!" she said getting up and tucking her hair behind her ears. Oh no, STEVE CAN'T FALL FOR HER. SHe IS MY MOM!! BUT SHE IS GORGEOUS. SHE IS THE DARK LONG HAIR, SHE IS SKINNY, SHE HASN'T AGED AND...YUCK!

"Your married ok?"

"Well, I need a man!"

"You have a man. And this is innappropriate!" he said getting nervous.

"Well," then she started crying hysterically. Steve got up,

"Look I'm sorry! I just can't do this."

"No I'm being stupid. I'm sorry....I just..you see...Jerry and I, we are...um, divorcing. He isn't in love with me anymore." she said. My heart dropped. I started crying, I could have vomitted. DIVORCE!

"Oh um, I'm sorry." Steve said in an achey voice. He probably new I heard.

"Yeah, I am too. I'm so sorry for that behavior, its anger and sadness right now." she said. Then he hugged her,

"Do the kids know?" he said, he probably hoped we did know.

"No." she said, "We haven't finalized anything...we are going away together this winter break to see if there is any spark, but I dought it....Jerry won't even try to fall back in love with me, its like he has found someone else."

"Oh, no, I don't think so...just try really hard, and if you need ANYTHING! Let me know...seriously. Why don't you go home ok?" he said. She nodded and walked off. I ran straight into Steve's arms and balled. JUST BALLED.

"Its going to be ok, I promise." Steve said stroking my back. The tears wouldn't stop. He just let me cry and every once and a while he would whisper, 'Its ok, I'm here!"

It was 4:30, I'd been crying for thirty minutes straight. Jeez.

"Why don't you come over?" he said smiling, but his voice sounded sympathetic.

"Ok." I said. I followed him out to the parking lot, I was ok to drive so I drove my car to his condo.

I walked in with my body shaking and my head down. RIght when I saw his face I just cried again. I laid down on the sofa and burried my head in the pillow. THIS SUCKED. My phone started ringing, it was the last person I wanted to talk to, my Dad. THE ONE THAT ISN'T IN LOVE WITH THE WOMAN HE MARRIED!!!! MY MOM!

I got myself together and answered. "Hello,"

"Hey Jul's, you coming home?"

"No. I'm spending the night out Dad," I said with no emotion.

"Oh, okay. Well we will miss you. We are going to dinner." he said.

"Ok." I said hanging up. I was SO mad, he is suck a FAKE! DInner? haha!!!

Steve came and sat by me. "You can't be mad at your Mom. She had NO IDEA you were in there."

"Yeah, I'm not mad at HER. My Dad is the one to blame!!" I said. He frowned,

"Maybe you should talk to them?" he said playing with my fingers.

"How would I explain how I know?" I said sadly.

"Good question. How about I make you something to eat, you'll sleep on it, and tomorrow is a new day!" he said. I kissed his cheek,

"Sounds good to me."

A/N-SOOOO-MAJOR TWIST for the love birds. I feel bad that Julianna has SO much to balance in her life, but I love the way this book is headed.
