Part 40

"WE ARE HERE!" I cried. Steve looked out of the plane as we landed,

"It hasn't changed a BIT!" he said. I laughed,

"Have we?"

"Um, yeah!" he said. Then we got our luggage and were off to our GORGEOUS hotel from our last two trips.

"Promice me ONE thing..."

'WHAT?' I asked.

"No fourth kid while we are here" I smacked him and laughed. I had on a light yellow sundress with white flip flops, my hair was down and flowy. My makeup was all pretty...and well NO KIDS! Steve had on jeans and a t-shirt, still handsome!

We checked in, wow it was the same!

"Aloha I'm Apikaila!" the same girl said. Then she instantly recognized us,

"Ah! The Owen's! Honeymoon?"

"Ha, NO!" we both said.

"That was 15 years ago!!" I said. She smiled,

"2nd honeymoon. Room 602!" she said. I laughed,

"Third time, we are always on the 6th floor." Steve kissed me, and thanked the woman and we were off. The room was the same as I remembered. Gorgeous views, hot tub, huge bathroom, annd just magnificent bed!

"I love you! I'm so glad we came!" I said unpacking. He smiled and continued unpacking his things.

"I wonder how things are going with the kids." he said. He started dialing the house number,

"Its vacation! We haven't been here for five minutes, they are FINE! Its our parents for g-d sake Steve." I said. He shut his phone, I took it and turned it off.

"Lets do something fun!" he said.

"I'm 39, what do you want to do fun?!?!?!?"

"Yeah I'm already in my fourty's remember?" he said.

"I'm married to you baby, I know." he laughed. I went to my drawer and got out my little pink bikini. SIKE> I got my red one piece!

"No little black bikini?" he said.

"NO! I'm a MOM! ew!" I said.

"They don't know that, and first of all you don't have an ounce of FAT on you! Your like 100 lbs Julie. You look the same." he said kissing me.

"Steve. I'm flattered, but NO."

"Why, its so cute?"

"Mhm." I said putting on the one piece, not seeing through his act. Anyway, its a hot one piece. The middle comes together as a knot and its a holter top.

We went out for a swim in the ocean. As clear as ever. I was so happy I was with this guy. He is more then a husband to me, he's my best friend. No pun intended, but he teaches me so much. He brings so much JOY in my life. He gave me the three most precious gifts I could ask for. This is the man that was my first and last love.

"Think about all we have done together Steve, I've known you forever." I said sitting in his lap on the waters edge. He smiled,

"I know. Remember during the lunches you'd sneak in my room for a kiss?" he said. I smiled,

"Remember when you told me about my scholarship!!" He kissed my cheek,

"Remember the wedding?"I nodded, my favorite part of my life was when we started dating.

"Hey Remember when we didn't know what to do when we had Luke? We were not parents and didn't know how to be a parent!" I said. He smiled and kissed me again,

"Indeed I do. Remember when I found your first gray hair and you panicked." he said. I slapped him,

"Remember when grew old together?" I said. He looked at me,

"What?"

"Oh yeah thats the future." I raised my eyes brows.

"You mean I get to spend the rest of my life with the most gorgeous girl I know?" I smiled,

"If she wants too." I smiled and kissed him.

"Hey babe, if you could change that senior year when we hooked up and became a couple, would you?" he asked.

"No. You were way more then Mr. Owen's to me."
