I was getting nervous....I mean I'm only a freakin' senior in college and I'm going to be an UNCLE!!
"Calm down Jackson." Jonah said from behind me. I turned around to face him, put my hands on my hips and said,
"I'm clam Jonah. I'm just stressed. Its my sister back there." I said. He smiled and continued reading the magazine in my lap. I kept watching the double doors, nothing.
16 hours went by and my brother inlaw came out, "Boys. Its a boy!" Steve said. I ran over and hugged him,
"Oh MAZEL TOV!" I said. My Jewish words were coming out!
"Thank you, do you want to meet him?" I nodded. Jonah and I linked arms and walked to the back.
"JACKSON JONAH!" My Mom said coming over with the littler boy. My eyes teared up, he was magnificent. A little tiny baby. I'm so happy for my sister.
"Whats the name?" Jonah asked.
"Luke." my sister whispered. I new it would be, that has been her favorite name forever.
"Its a great name." Jonah said. I went over and hugged my sister. She smiled,
"You guys, thanks for being here." she said. I nodded,
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." she kissed my cheek and then the baby was handed to me. He was so cute!
"Hi Luke. I'm Uncle Jackson! I'll get you the cutest gifts and amazing clothes ok?" Everyone laughed. They didn't know I was serious. I was, this kid was going to shine!!!
I handed the baby back to his Mother, and Jonah and I were going home. He grabbed my hand and we walked to the car.
