* Greyson's POV *
"Greyson remember the Leighton's are here for dinner" my mom shouted
"Yea, getting ready" i shout back, i almost forgot about the dinner
I quickly showered and wear my shirt with my bullet necklace and black jeans and went downstairs and saw my mom and Alexa arranging the plates
"Hey mom"
"Greyson you look handsome, you were just a baby and now your all grown up"
"Happy birthday little bro" Alexa said hugging me
" Thanks guys " i said hugging each of them and saw my mom getting teary eyes
"Mom, don't cry"
And the doorbell rang, that must've been Leila and her family
"Just get the door bell Greyson" my mom said wiping her eyes
"Ok" " I'll get it " i quickly said and ran to the door and the Anne, Leila's aunt, Finn and a very pretty Leila stood on infront of the door
"Happy birthday sweetie" Anne was first to said and hugging me and kissed my cheek, she's like my second mother
"Thanks Anne" i smiled at her
"Happy birthday Greyson"
"Happy birthday bro"
"Thanks Finn"
"Happy birthday Greyson"
"Thanks Leila" i hugged her and it felt so right, we hugged for a minute i guess until someone cleared there throat. Dad and Tanner akwardly stood near the door
"Would you like to come in?" my dad smiled politely at them
"Of course"
*Leila's POV*
I handed him my present and his smile couldn't possibly get any bigger,
"YOU GOT ME THE WHOLE THE BEATLES RECORD? GOD LEILA I LOVEEEEEE YOU SOO SOOO MUCH" he looked taken aback at what he said, maybe the love part?
"Your welcome Grey, and.. I love you too" I smiled at him
Everyone gathered in the Chance's dining room and sat down, i sat down beside Grey and he smiled at me "You look very pretty" he whispered, I looked away blushing but something else caught my attention
The mouthdropping food that was on the table,I think I drooled and i gingerly wiped my mouth, thank god nothing is there. "This looks so good Mrs. Chance" I said honestly, forgetting all of the food i've eaten before.. not having the patience to wait any longer
After about a good 5 minutes of conversation, everyone finally decided to dig in and I happily joined, after we're done with out main course Mr. and Mrs.Chance went to the kitchen.. hmm, wierd. Suddenly they came holding a 3 layer cake that says 'All You Need Is Love' with The Beatles decoration on top, it was honestly the coolest cake ever
"Greyson, baby. We want you to know that we will always love you, we will always support you no matter thick and and thin.. you always make us proud.. you, Tanner, and Alexa are our greatest creation. Our family is a circle of strength, founded on faith, joined in love, kept by god.. together and forever. Together we all make an amazing family.. Happy birthday baby, you grew up so fast" Mrs. Chance said and cried on Mr. Chance aka Scott's shoulder, honestly i cried a little at how beautiful their speech is and i saw Greyson slip and tear or two
After everyone said their blessings, it was my turn "Greyson, honestly i only know you for a short while and... You are the most amazing person i've ever met, your not limited edition but your one and only. I don't think I will ever find anyone like you and I won'take you for granted, i'll always be grateful that i met you.. Happy birthday" Greyson gave me a wide grin "Come on everyone, it's time to cut the cake" Lisa aka Mrs. Chance said
Everyone got a slice of the delicious cake and chatted, Greyson was chatting with Finn and mom and aunt is chatting with the Mr. and Mrs. Chance, Tanner and Alexa are talking to each other.. and ofcourse i'm forever alone and slicing more slices of cake without anyone noticing... After my 5th slice of cake I finally decided to get some fresh air at the backyard, since everyone is busy chatting with each other I don't have to excuse myself
I walked infront of the pool and decided to sit on the two person swing, I sighed thinking back to my life if I hadn't went to Edmond. Will I babysit the new step devil? Will my dad still ditch me? "Hey, beautiful why are you alone" I snapped out of my thoughts and see Greyson infront of me
"Nothing.. just.. lost in my thoughts birthday boy"
"Well don't get to lost, or you will forget about me" he pouted, dang those lips.. so red and luscious, I just wanna k-
Oh my god what the fuck? stupid teenage hormones "Um what did you say?"
"No. nothing, without you i'm lost boy" I rolled my eyes at him.. and poked his head
"HEY! your going to pay for that" I quickly ran from the swing while sticking my tongue out at him "Well, catch me if you can"
*Greyson's POV*
I quickly got up from the swings and chased Leila, god that girl will be the death of me! "Leiiii wait up"
"Nooo wayy" I kept chasing her feeling so happy and we finally ended up at the first place
The pool
We're circling each other while puffing our breath, because after running 10.000 m around the house, who wouldn't be out of breath?
"If you say sorry, i'll forgive you right now" I tell her
"Let me think about it" she put her index finger under her chin "No" I smiled at her childish antics
"Are you sure?" I raised one of my eyebrows and grin "Pft, it's not like you can do any bigge chanciee" she did not just call me a that
"OMG, Lei! there's a huge bee beside you!"
"WHERE?" she quickly swatting every inch of her face and while she's swatting i quickly run to her and hug her from behind
"I told you i'll catch you" I said quietly in her ear
"Heyyy, that was cheating!" she defended "Well, you never state the rules" now it was my turn to stuck out my tongue at her
"Alright! I Leila leighton admit defeat to the birthday boy, Greyson Chance" I lift Leila and said "Why do i have a idiotly cute girfriend like you?" I quickly realized what i said "Not girlfriend, um I mean like girl space friend.. um like a friend who is a girl" I kept stumbling backwards and didn't realize and I slip "Greyy, watch out" Leila shouted but I wasn't quick enought and we both fall backwards and oh god this couldn't be happening
