Christmas was starting to creep up and for the first time ever Kamri had actual friends to buy for unlike most years where her mam would just pick up something for Jenna no thought went into the present. She always got something good for Zara and spent ages choosing it but now she had Colleen too buy for too that was going to be hard.
When Kamri woke up her phone was on her pillow beside her looked like she drifted off mid Darcy stalk. She had left it on a selfie Darcy took 109weeks ago...oops thats a pretty deep stalk.
Suddenly kamris phone began to ring she jumped up out of her bed with the fright she yawned as she answered it
"hello?"~kamri
"Did I just hear a yawn did you seriously just wake up Kamri casey you lazy sloth im not even sorry that I woke you"~Zara
"good morning too you too Zara"~kamri
"Morning are you serious its 1 oclock"~Zara
"oh...oops"~Kamri
"But i bet you didnt know it was 1.00 because oh wait yes you just woke up"~Zara
"ah..yeahhh"~kamri
"Yeah is right gulity as charged Anyway I didn't just call to wake you up and hear your lovely voice I had a reason...Just wondering if you would like to go to the Snowman competition in Winnipeg up the road I've heard its good"~Zara
"Yeah sure might as well nothing else too do we aren't going soon are we? I need food"~kamri
"Wow kamri you really are my little cuz just woke up the first thing on your mind is food I love it where coming to get you at 2:00 my Dads bringing us"~Zara
"Gotta love it okay that's perfect ill go get food and get ready cya at 2:00"~kamri
"Wrap up warm little cuz it's going to be freezing yup cya at 2:00"~Zara
That was fine by kamri she had something to do on her lazy Saturday. She put some blueberry poptards in the toaster and grabbed some clothes out of the laundry basket.
Blue jeans, a Scooby doo sweater, thick fluffy socks and her white converse.
Her poptarts popped out of the toaster and made kamri jump out of her skin...it happens every time.
1:30..hmm she had a half and hour to eat and do make-up she was doing good.
As she ate her blueberry poptarts she scrolled through tumblr.
2:00 and kamri was still scrolling through tumblr it had sucked her in oh dang she was gonna be late she quickly put on her Eskimo jacket...well she called it that cause it had a big fluffy furry hood. She threw on her black and grey Bennie too.
There was no sign of Zara and her dad so kamri quickly put on a bit of foundation and mascara. She brought her bubblegum pink eos too though it didn't have much colour she definitely needed it.Those chilly days really took the moisture out of her lips and made them all go chapped.
2:15 still nowhere too be seen though kamri didn't mind she was fully ready now and was just sitting on the couch beside the window watching out for her cousin.
Zara and her father arrived at 2:30 ah late as always. Kamri put on the alarm locked the door and locked up the garage then walked up to the car.
Zaras dad drove a Matt black Ford fusion it looked like it cost a good amount of money probably did and all. Zaras dad had a very well paying job in a office though it looked like it took it all out of him he always looked so tired and grumpy. On his odd day off he would change into a different man he was mental suited Aunt Helen perfectly. At Christmas he would be wearing a crazy christmas jumper standing on the kitchen table singing karaoke he was mad but on a normal work day he was a moody grinch though nobody could blame him he worked his ass off for Zara and auntie Helen.
Zara got into the back of the car today was her uncles good day he looked happy and not stressed Zara was glad she was scared of her uncle when he was grumpy.
