25: Feeling Alive

《Jinhwan's POV》

I rubbed my tired eyes when I heard my alarm ringing so loud asking me to get up. I turn it off before my eyes widened when something crossed my mind.

The messages.

I quickly turned on my data and clicked on the kakaotalk icon, wanting to see something. For the second time, my eyes widened. Is this even real? I rubbed my eyes continuously, making sure that I'm not hallucinating. Nope, I'm not.

Yerin is freakin' read my messages!

I jumped off of my bed and went straight to the bathroom to get fresh. I looked at my reflection in the mirror as I slightly pinched my cheek. Am I dreaming? Ouch, of course not! After refreshing, I grabbed my phone and dialled Yerin's number. It's connected.. but she didn't pick it up. Damn, I feel like my heart is going to explode in any time.

Then, I decided to check up on the kids at Korea.

"Yobeoseyo?" Donghyuk's voice greeted me.

I let out a deep breath. "Yo, Dongie. How are you? How about the others?"

"Hyung, we are all just woke up except for Hanbin hyung and Bobby hyung. They already headed to the studio a while ago. Waeyo hyung?" he chuckled.

Oh yeah, it's just 8 in the morning there.

"I think I'm going back to Korea by today," I said.

"Mwo?!"

I rolled my eyes. Donghyuk must be put the phone on the loudspeaker so that the others could hear our conversation too.

Chanwoo: But you just arrived yesterday?

Junhoe: Did you already buy us souvenirs?

I heard a slap sound and then Junhoe yelped.

Donghyuk: Aish, this punk!

Yunhyeong: But hyung, why? Don't you need some time to be alone?

"Palawan Island is such a beautiful island I've ever been but nah, my heart is still for Jeju," I said and chuckled.

Junhoe: Mmm..

Chanwoo: It's actually up to you, hyung. It's your choice.

Donghyuk: So, when will you be leaving?

Yunhyeong: Aren't you just woke up from your sleep? \( ö )/

I grinned, "Yeah, I just bathed. I think I'm going to pack up now."

"Hyung," Junhoe whispered. "Is there something happened?"

Donghyuk: Yah! Let us talk to Jinhwan hyung too.

I sighed, "Actually, yes."

Chanwoo: Wae wae wae wae waeeee?

"I sent messages to Yerin and she is literally read it," I sighed, remembering the moment when I knew she has actually read it. At the bottom of my heart, it's hurt.

Knowing that she is gone but this really give me hopes.

《Chanwoo's POV》

My heart stung. I didn't say anything when Donhyuk hyung ended the call. I sat on the floor, looking blankly at the hyungs.

Junhoe turned to me. "Don't you hear him just now? Yerin is fucking read his message! Does that mean-"

Yunhyeong: She is already awake?

I shrugged. "I don't know. I don't even have Yerin's belongings with me, especially her phone so I don't know! What should we do now?" I panicked.

Donghyuk: We should meet Bobby hyung.
