Chapter 3: What In the World

We finally got into the woods and I finally got to sit down on a tree stump. "Jack what were you talking about at my house?" I said worried about him. He looked at me dead in the eye but only for a few seconds then put his hand on a tree leaning against it then said "I wish I could tell you but I can't I'm just glad your safe." I still didn't know what the heck was going on or who Jack was talking about. I walked over to Jack and put my arms around him then said "hey, who ever you were worried about that was going to get me didn't get me I'm here." I said trying my best to comfort him. He turned around to put his arms on me when he noticed someone. Jack moved me behind him then said "Astrid whatever you do stay behind me!" I nodded my head like he didn't have to tell me twice. "What are you doing here Jack?" The person said curiously. Jack looked at him moving a little bit closer then said "that's none of your business Garrett! Why are you here!" Jack new why he was here but I couldn't figure why Garrett was here. "Jack you do realize the "Blue Moon" is coming up soon right... In two days!" Garrett said trying to give him a hint that vampires only get every four years to find their true soul mate. Jack rolled his eyes and said furiously  "yes, yes I know the blue moon is coming up now leave and go find precious Prince Henry his vampiress!" Garrett folded his arms over each other and started to tap his foot a little then said "Jack you know why I'm here and you can't stop me from taking the girl Prince Henry has heard of Astrid and wishes to meet her on the night of the Blue Moon of sooner!" I peeked my head from behind Jack to see what Garrett looked like because all I could hear was his voice. "Hello Astrid" Garrett said sweetly with a smirk on his face "your coming with me Prince Henry..." I interrupted him and said "yeah... Yeah Prince Henry wants to see me guess what not gonna happen bub! I'm taken!" I grabbed Jacks' hand and looked up at him. Jack looked down at me then back at Garrett and said "you heard her Garrett so tell Princie Henry to buzz off she's mine!" Jack said getting all protective. Garrett looked at him with pathetic basically written across his face then said "how pathetic... Astrid your coming with me!" Before I could say anything or knew anything Garrett had me in his arms and out of the woods already. I tried to smack him in the face when he went to rest from all the running but he blocked my hit. After that he threw me over his shoulder and started to run again not to long after that we were at a big huge castle. Garrett finally put me down and let me walk. But from him throwing me over his shoulder and watching the ground move fast I was to dizzy to walk and fell backwards but before I hit the ground someone caught me but it wasn't Garrett.
