I knows that you're trying to get over me
And that you're trying to forget
But a part of me knows that you truly

Can't fight this.
When she talks and babbles
You'll stare out the window
Instead your head is filled with memories
About the conversations we had
And the jokes we made together.
You'll think of my laughter,
You'll think of me.
You can try your best
But you can't deny
You'll compare everything to me -
Her hugs, her smile.
It's obvious that
She doesn't touch you like I did,
Doesn't run her fingers through your hair.
She can't make your world collapse.
She's not me.
You can tell when you compare.
And when you toss and turn at night,
Just like I know you do,
You'll feel her head on the pillow beside you
and it will feel odd.
She doesn't know anything about you.
At least, not the way I do.
I'm not the bad guy here.
I'm just the fool -
A fool for you.
I know we're both broken
But our broken parts fit together like puzzle pieces.
Can't you see
I love you,
I need you,
I miss you.
I wish we never said goodbye.
I'm just a page in your book,
You were a chapter in mine.
