At War with a Friend (Tony)

I got up from my spot in front of the tv and walked to the meeting room where I saw Fury waiting, I had a meeting with him and got distracted by the news. I entered the room and took my seat across the table from Fury. He had his file in hand and a stern look (A/N: Which he always has anyways!) on his face.
"Agent (Y/L/N) it's time to choose a side."
"I choose..."

"I choose Tony." I say.
"Very well (Y/N). Good luck to Tony, yourself, and the team." With that Fury walks out just before I get to question the confusing man about his "good luck" comment. On that note I walked out of the meeting room and walked to the lab where I was greeted by a sweet kiss from Tony. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back before pulling away and retiring to my work station. I hadn't realized Tony gave me a saddened look before going to his work station.

Once we got to Stark Tower I went to walk to the lab as Tony grabbed my arm and pulled me close to his chest.
"Now where are you off to in such a hurry?" He said with the sexy Stark smirk plastered across his handsome face.
"The lab."
"I don't think so." He kissed me and pulled back slowly. "Now tell me whats bothering you?"
"Just all this is really happening. Your going to be in war with Steve and some of the other Avengers. Your going to war with friends, Tony!"
"I know. But it's all gonna be alright. We're both gonna be fine. And our team is going to be fine. I don't like the idea of a huge all out battle either, but we have to. Can't be fixed. And I can fix almost anything." With that his smirk grew even wider which made me chuckle and little and smile. He kissed my head and handed me a little box.
"What's this?" I ask.
"It's for you. Just a little something to say I love you." He opens the box and puts a solid gold heart shaped locket around my neck.
"I love you, Tony."
"Love you too, (Y/N)."

And with that we both walked to the lab and worked on some new armor and new improvements to the Ironman suits. We didn't strategize or anything, just worked in the lab and left the strategizing up to the government and our team.
