Battle Strategy (Steve)

"Buck. You'll be with Sam, (Y/N), and myself. We'll be going after Tony and his allies." Steve said as I listened to every word. Bucky still looking shaken from HYDRA and knowing he was going right back into war. "(Y/N), your gonna be the distraction. You'll be heeded to the Stark Tower to do some spying before we all join you in the final battle. I need you to be safe and not get caught. Report back to us immediately if you find out any of their battle strategies."

I nod nervously. "Ok." I see Bucky look over at me and smile, as one of the only people to trust Bucky after HYDRA, we've kinda developed a friendship. More like we're brother and sister now.

"Good. We set out to our targets tomorrow. Good luck everyone. Be safe tomorrow." Steve says and leaves the room as I follow Bucky grabs my arm.

"Hey Buck." I say my voice a little shaky.
"You seemed a little nervous when Steve told you what you'd be doing. You ok with it?"
"Yeah. You guys are just trusting me with a big responsibility. What if I get caught? I'm putting the whole team in jeopardy that way."
"Hey. You won't get caught. Steve knows what he's doing. I've followed the man since I was 20 something. I should know."
I smile and nod. "Thanks Buck." As I go to walk out of the room I see Steve in the doorway smiling. I walk to him and hug him and then we walk out of the room together.

Once we're in our room Steve looks at me and kisses my head. "Your ok with being our spy, right? I can get someone else to..."
I cut him off. "Don't. It's ok. I'm comfortable with it. Just worried about letting you down."
"You won't. I wouldn't assign you to be a spy unless I knew you could do it."
I nod and smile. I look at the clock and see that it's pretty late. "Get some rest Rogers. Big day tomorrow."
"Same to you." He kisses me and I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back before he pulls away. "I love you, (Y/N)."
"Love you too, Steve."
I lay down and we both fall asleep.
