We had formally apologized to everyone involved in the battle. Saying that it was deemed an unnecessary war that shouldn't have taken place. There was a startling number of deaths after the war. But that wasn't the first thing Tony had on his mind. He needed to make right with Steve and the other Avengers that were on Steve's side.

Me and Tony went to the jail Steve was being held at and bailed him out. Tony apologizing for everything that had happened. Surprisingly everything was made right. The Avengers thought about rejoining now, it'd never be the same. But it's all this world's got.

After the formal and pubic apologies from me and Tony the government hero registry was deemed ineffective and the notion was dropped. Heroes can continue to keep their identities to themselves and become public if they so wish to do that. Even this didn't stop certain people from trying to change the world. Steve was shot after Tony bailed him out a jail. He survived, but with almost fatal injuries to his back. The less grabbed up this opportunity to say that it was sabotage. That Tony's apology wasn't legitimate and that he had arranged for Steve to get shot outside that courthouse. Of course none of this was true. Tony had no part in it. It was the doing of HYDRA, Sharon Carter had been brainwashed into shooting Steve. She was then taken into custody.

Tony had waited till all the buzz about Steve getting shot outside a courthouse and all the press saying we did it to calm down before he brought the idea of marriage up. Of course he had proposed in the ordeal of the war and all, but he wanted a more legit way of doing it. So there was the engagement and then the marriage. Then, surprisingly enough, kids. Antony Stark Jr. and Elizabeth Stark.
