We were all effected by my dad being deployed but we all tried to pretend like it did not bother us every single day was a routine of pretending to be happy.
In the morning wake up 6 way breakfast help mom get my brother Nathan ready for school ,7:55 head off to school ,after school go to my friend Sam's house this occurred every single day for two months I heard mom crying almost every single night and one night I decided to ask her what was wrong.she snapped at me.
"It's not your fucking problem don't worry about it sav!fuck"she said angrily as she slammed the door in my face.
Mom was changing, she did her routine everyday get up ,go to work, pick me up from Sam's,come home and make dinner but it seems as if she did these tasks more and more angrily each day waking up way to late throwing a fit about going to work yelling at me telling me to find my own ride home and while making dinner she would slam cabinets and cooking utensils,as you can imagine as a small child this is scary many nights I stayed up with my brother comforting him reading him stories and watching tv with him until he would fall asleep.not only did mom change emotionally but she changed physically dark circles under the bright blue eyes that seemed to be the only thing alive on her her hair was thinning she was smoking again she didn't bother to put on makeup or do her hair in the morning.my mom had become a completely different person.
