Happy birthday

Cinder was in the middle of a meeting when Kinny walked in.

"You're majesty someone would like to see you."

"I am in the middle of something can you tell them to wait?" Cinder replied, annoyed at the interruption.

"I'm afraid I can't do that."

Sighing out, Cinder dismissed her self. "This better be good." She mumbled to Kinny after she walked out of the room.

"Trust me it is. "

As Cinder rounded the corner she saw the person she least expected to be there.

"Kai?"

Kai walked over to her and gave Cinder a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh my stars what are you doing here?" Cinder hasn't seen Kai in person for one month.

Kai gave her a confused look. "You know what day it is right?"

"Ummmmm........"

"Cinder. It's your birthday. How can you possibly forget about your own birthday?"

"I don't know. It's really not a big deal." Cinder pulled Kai down the hall, towards her living quarters.

Kai sat down on the sofa, and Cinder sat down next to him. He unfolded a blanket and covered the both of them with it. Pulling something out of his pocket he chuckled.

"You are so stubborn. Anyways, happy birthday!"

Kai handed her a small box that had a crooked bow on the top. It had golden wrapping paper, and fit perfectly in her palm. Cinder slowly pulled off the wrapping paper. There was a black velvet box. Kai wrapped his hands around her, and got off the couch onto one knee. Cinder's eyes widened and her hand flew to her mouth. He opened the box, and inside was a diamond ring.

"Queen Selene Jannali Channary Blackburn, also known as Cinder Linh. Will you marry me?"

"Oh my stars. Kai. Yes! Of course! "

Kai slipped the ring onto her finger, and kissed her.

Cinder was glad she skipped that meeting, and would skip a thousand more just to be with him.

This was not the plan. This was not so post to be a proposal. I swear. It just happened. One minute I was writing about a birthday present the next Kai was down on one knee. This was horrible, trust me I know. I will be rewriting it later, just to let you know. Anyway, thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed!
