"WHERE ON EARTH HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Exclaimed Kurt. Chad shuddered and gave no reply. He was still a child at heart, and didn't see any wrong doing. Kurt was entirely the opposite. "Chad, you know you can't just leave unannounced" said Kurt. "I-I didn't. I feel asleep, and before I knew it, it was snowing, so I came here. Like I always do." Replied Chad, defending his actions.
"Well, you'll have to stop stop doing the things that you always do and start taking your responsibility seriously. You'll need to make some bigger decisions someday, and your childish ways will take over and you won't think straight." Lectured Kurt.

This made Chad sink. He went inside himself. He wanted to re-evaluate his life. He didn't see himself for what he was now. His judgment was clouded. His sight hazed by the idea of having to decide for a group of people he cared about. He thought that no matter what he did, he would always make the wrong choice, endangering the people he cared about.

Kurt's words had struck fear inside him. He knew just how to make Chad question anything he did. This was his weakness showing. Failing others.
Chad gave in, reluctantly. He said a sad goodbye to Doc, and showed himself out. Kurt followed behind. Chad was now to do what he was meant to.
His job.
