Morning dawned upon the sleeping town, and few wanting to morning to come. Nothing special was happening, it just happened to be a Monday, and people generally don't like Mondays. A few people dotted around town were mad enough to be up to see the sun rise. Like Milbee, who was crazy in his own right, spent this morning re-dying his sheep rainbow colours. No one really understands why he does that...
The sun rose a little higher and the birds began to sing and wake the tired town and call it from its slumber. Chad could do nothing but rub sleep from his eyes and question his gesture from the previous day. "I open it was the right thing to do. Otherwise today's meeting might be an awkward one." He said, thinking of the events for the day ahead.
Chad rolled to one side to be immediately blinded by the sunlight gleaming through his window. Someone had opened the blinds. After recovering from temporary blindness, Chad saw a piece of paper slid under a lamp on one of his bedsides.
Chad, I thank you for the flowers. I know that you will do your best to bring all the good that you can to us. You're a gleeful spirit, something I could never be. But I hope you can spread happiness to others, and I will help you do so in any way I can.
Signed,
KurtHis heart fluttered at his friend backing him on his journey. He knew that only good has come from the exchange, and that all has been forgiven of he previous matter.

Lunch time rolled around as the sun perched itself atop the sky. Staring directly down at anyone outside. Chad sat at a windowed seat, twiddling his thumbs, waiting anxiously if his invitation was even found. A small bell rang and broke his concentration, he turned towards the bar tender and he nodded back. Chad leaped from his chair to greet his guest. He pulled out their chair and seated himself back down.
"I must thank you for inviting me, but my are we here?" Inquiried the guest.
"Well, I want to finally be on good terms. Even after all these years." Chuckled Chad. "Very well" sighed Kurt, knowing that Chad would have the go until supper time. Jokingly, Kurt rolled his eyes and huffed, confusing Chad but Kurt reassured him, nothing was wrong.Doc walked over with the menus and offered the men a variety of drinks. "The usual Doc" answered Chad, smoothly. "I'll just have some water, can't be drinking at work, unlike some people" Kurt said while gesturing towards Chad "Hey!!" Cried Chad jokingly, signifying their friendship and how far their bond has come since the early days. Doc returned with a jug of water and a dry martini and left them to their own devices. They talked long into the afternoon. Finally choosing a final topic for discussion, the men both talked about how they came to be here in the fabled kingdom of Mindcrack. "Well" said Chad. "Well what?" Replied Kurt. "I told you how I got here, very boringly I must add, but now it's your turn. How did you get here?" Inquiried Chad. "Well, I came just after Mindcrack was established. I know I was born here, and I remember seeing the first people I ever did, my parents, Guude and Coe. Guude was only a child of young age, and Coe was the man who travelled with his tribe to seek the Far Lands. He forged the Mindcrack we see before us." Explained Kurt.
Chad stared, enthralled by the history of the town, now absurdly young yet advanced for its lifespan thus far.
"But, that story is for another time" sighed Kurt. "Awwwww" wailed Chad. "Besides, we should be getting back to work!" Smiled Kurt as he pushed back his chair and waited for Chad to thank Doc for his service and to head back home.
