Chapter 14

Dylan's Point Of View********

I am a lover not a fighter. Well I used to think that for a long time until tonight. I got a call from Ally which I was so happy to answer until I heard her talking to someone. A Guy. I guess she accidentally called me because I don't think I was suppose to hear any of what they were saying.

"You cheated on me remember?!"

I heard her yell at the guy. It was Ethan. What the hell was he doing there at this time of night? I didn't care why he was there to be honest. All I cared about was getting over there to her house fast.

I jumped up out of my chair grabbing my car keys.

"Hey what's going on?" Tyler asked surprised.

"No time to explain just come with me." I yelled as I was half way down the stairs already.

I ran out the door and to the car with Tyler behind me. I got in the car a drove off to her house . I never felt so angry in all of my life from what I just saw.

I jumped out the car walking towards him.

"Well its about time you got here Dylan. For awhile I thought you weren't going to show up."

"What did you do to her you bastard?!"

I felt my fingers curl into a perfect fist when he replied.

"Oh we were just talking that's all. Besides if I did do something what the fuck would you do about it?"

All of the rage inside me was building up. I was livid. I guess Tyler saw me and got afraid because he jumped in between me and Ethan. He looked at me seriously pushing me slightly back.

"Dylan calm down."

"Yeah Dylan calm down and walk away before you get your ass handed to ya!"Ethan yelled from behind Tyler.

How could he do that to her? Her body was just lying there on the ground because of him and if he did hit her I don't think that I would be able to control myself. What made me mad was that he didn't give two shits about her none what so ever. I finally got to see who this guy really was towards her. She wasn't kidding when she told me that he got so angry. He was tall super tall with mussels the size of tree trunks. And there was me. This 5'11 sorta tall guy with some mussels but not a lot. What was I going to do to him? Nothing. Or maybe I could.

I started to back up keeping eye contact with him. Tyler followed me without saying a word but was surprised very surprised.

"That's right ! Go home to your mom! Oh and by the way she's with me now."

My limit was reached I couldn't hold it back anymore. I pushed Tyler aside and ran up to Ethan throwing my fist into his jaw hard. He fell to the side as I watched him I thought he was down for good. He came back up trying to swing at me. I blocked his hit and punched him even more this time . All of my anger was spilling out and I couldn't stop it because in my head all I thought was that he deserved it. He did! He couldn't even try to hit because I was hitting his body repeatedly. Tyler was trying to pull me off of him but all I could do was push him away. I don't think that I could stop until I felt soft warm hands on my neck.

"Dylan stop." Alicia whispered into my ear.

I turned around to see Alicia with tears in her eyes and her body shivering. She pulled me close to her body looking into my eyes.

"It's okay Dylan ." She said quitely.

I turned around to see Ethan running to his car and driving away. I turned back to her concerned looking at her body.

"Are you okay? Did he hit you what happened?"

Her tears spilled out "I thought it was my mom at the door and it was him and he was drunk and upset. He didn't hit me he pushed me onto the ground hard though. I thought he was really going to hurt me Dylan I really did!"

I creased her cheek softly while I whipped away her tears.

"I wont let him hurt you ever again. I'm here for you always okay I'll do anything to keep you safe I promise you."

She nodded her head.

"I love you."

"I love you too. You want to come to my house?"

"Yes please."

 The only place she was safe was at my house and I wanted her there so that I knew she was safe. I wouldn't let anyone or anything harm her.
