I parked my truck in front of the semi packed stable. I rested my head on the headrest just taking in a deep breath cause I know if people see my tears they'll ask what happened and I know I won't be able to handle it. I texted Melinda telling her I'm here. She said okay and she came out to my truck and asked what happened I told her about the scholarship and she was so happy till I turned to face her and she knew something else was going on that and I only call head to have my horse ready in emergencies.

I told her my aunt has cancer and she has met my aunt she knows the bond we have. She got out of the truck and came over to my side and pulled me out of the truck and into a hug.

"Now are you okay?" She asked after I wiped my last tear.

"Yeah I'm good but ill be better once my feet are in the irons."

"Haha yeah now go get your ass in the saddle and your feet in the irons and ride like your in Ireland already." She reply with a playful wink and a pat on the back as we walked into the barn together.

I got shaggy bridled and walked him out to the out door arena there were some riders not a lot though.

I hoped on and stared warming him up once I was done I met Melinda in the jumpers arena.

I met her by the gate and waited for her to tell me my course.

"Alright your going to go in take a left lead take a circle then to the outside line to the angle boxes roll back to roll top right lead to flower oxer down the middle to the hay bales and end on right lead do your circle and exit. Got it..?"

"Yes I think"

"Go get em tiger."

We had just done the course three time I was getting tired and I could tell shaggy was too. Shaggy refused two times on the roll top and the third time he knocked down the pole that sat a few inches a over the jump.

"Again" Melinda said "Heels down and press and hold he'll carry you to the end just let him do the work!" Melinda yelled from the gate she handed me the crop "use it if needed but let him know you have it." I stared my course and I did as I was told and as I approached the roll top I whispered to shaggy.

"Show me what you got." And with that he took the rest of the course as if he has been doing it for his whole life I ended and did my circle.

I didn't even notice the little crowd appearing as I was ending my ride until

All I hear was 'wooo hoo's and 'YES' and 'THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!' I patted shaggy as I sit apon his back as he knew where to go I drop the reins on his neck threw my hands in the air finally signing that I got it right.

I bathed shaggy and gave him the carrots he deserved. Melinda was helping my prepare him for the flight to Ireland.

She gave me a list of things he'll need to protect his legs and head.

"Alright thanks for everything" I said to Melinda as I got in my truck and drove home.

Melinda had called my mom and told her where I was and told her about getting ready for the trip to Ireland.

"I'm home" I yelled as I laid my keys on the kitchen counter.

It sounded like a heard of horse where coming through the house and before I knew it I was tackled by mom dad and Bela.

"Guys I only wen to the barn."

"Melinda told us about your ride." Bela said as she let go of me I couldn't read her feelings right now.

"...okay..." I said kind of scared

"I'm kidnapping you tomorrow."

"Where are we going cause I need to get things for shaggy for the trip"

"Don't worry about it okay" Bela said as she walked to the basement.

"You better get to bed you have a big day tomorrow missy"

"Yes mama I will" I kissed my parents goodnight and went to bed.

I'm really sorry it's short I'll make it up in the next few chapters but first I need a few more reads and votes if you don't mind.
