Birthday and bad news.

*One month passed*

Bela stayed longer then planed but that's okay her parents where going to be taking care of her grandparents for another month. But it's my birthday today and I wanted to sleep in but Bela had other plans...YA.. Note the sarcasm.

"WAKEY WAKEY NICKY BOO!!!" Bela sing song as she jumped on my bed. My birthday is in November so it's alittle chilly but I liked that it means I can have twenty blankets on and have my window open its perfect.

"NOOO! GO AWAY!" I yelled as the cold fall air blew in through my window Bela tried to pull away my blankets but fail horribly.

"Fine but leave me alown so I can get ready." Bela finally left so I could get ready my hair still alittle damp from my shower the previous night cause I put it in a bun right after so I had to blow dry it. After that I straitened it and picked out my out fit for the day. I decided to go with my camo T-shirt, with my ripped jeans and my work boots and my neon orange sweatshirt. I'm not a person who's going to try an impress you, and before you can be all like 'but it's your birthday dress nice' I do when it's important it's just a birthday.

It was about noon when I can back down.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU-" before my family could finish out comes bela dressed in all my brothers old cloths looking or trying to act "gangster".

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, SOMETIMES YOU ACT LIKE YOUR 22 BUT YOUR CRAZY AND I DOOO OHHHH I DOOO LOVE YOUUUUU!" Bela rapped while making some odd movements with her hands. We all clapped in a dramatic way

"Thanks CDs are sold in the kitchen." With her arms out like she was supper man. Lord help that child.

We just got done earring and hanging around when my mom yelled 'time for presents' honestly I almost for got about them. That's coming from a seventeen year old OHHHH NOOOO now I'm eighteen haha wow that feels good to say that.

"Okay so we each got you something."

I turned to face my dad he game me his first. I opened the paper and unfolded the tissue paper I could already tell you it's cloths but I don mind.

I opened the box and unfolded a black Blackhawks jersey like OMFG!!!

Huge Blackhawks fan right here whoop whoop. I jumped up and thanked my dad.

Next was Bela her family always gave me stud on my birthday her parents gave me a gift but Bela had to give it to me cause their not here. I opened the small box to fins am iTunes card and a smaller box I opened it and found the most beautiful necklace I've ever seen it had a horse shoe with a small horse inside.

Bela gave me hers I opened it to fine a shadow box in the inside was a white boarder an many pictures of me Bela and the horses an other pets we had. I loved it I hugged her and said thank you to my best friend.

My mom gave me hers last but as I was going to grab it she placed her hands on it and started to speak.

"Nicole now that you are eighteen and I and your father have faith and trust in you but if you don't like it we know someone who would love to have these okay." I agreed to her statement and began to open the big box only to find another box and another and another after the fifth box I looked at my mom as she just laughed

"Is this going to end soon?" I asked tired of opening boxes

"Yes two more."

I got down to a small box with two white  

Envelopes in it one had the number 1 and the other had a 2 on it.

"Open the number one first." Bela said I gave her a look of no shit Sherlock.

She just laughed.

They were plane tickets I was kind of confused at first but then I opened up the second envelope. I begin to read it and I think almost fainted. You see awhile back and by awhile back I'm mean a year ago I sent in a scholarship for a equestrian school in Ireland. I've always wanted to ride there and I'm 100% Irish. I loved their schooling academy for horses and I've told my trainer about it and she helped me and pushed my to my limits for making me the rider I'm today. Go bless her. But anyway I gave up on getting into the school and stared working part time at different barns and training students to ride. But I was looking at the letter of acceptance into their school....OH MY FUCKING GOD I DOT KNOW WHAT AIR IS CAUSE IM FUCKING SPEECHLESS!!!!

"AHHHHHH OMG RHIS IS NOT HAPPENING."  

I jumped up an down with Bela I gave hugs around to my family and at that moment in time my dads phone rang and he just said he would be right back.

We where all smiling and jumping around that was until dad came back he had tears in his eyes his face went pale as if he was a puppy who had been kicked.

"Wh-what happened?" I asked not know what was going on "who was on the phone?"  

I think I've heard the worst words ever.

"It-it's Aunt Barb." My aunt barb is like my second mom I loved her with all my heart.

"What do you mean?" I asked scared not even noticing bela came over and put her arm around my shoulder ready to convert me as I heard the news.

"She got diagnosed with cancer." When I heard those five words I think if Bela wasn't there I would have fallen.

"Shhh she's gonna be alright she is a fighter." Bela cooded.

It was only four o'clock. I ran out of the house got in my truck and called Melinda she's my trainer I know I could go to her for anything I was on my way to the barn.

"Melinda can you get him ready with tack on him for me please and the jumpers course ready please?" I asked with tears and sadness in my voice

"Yes sweetie he'll be ready."

"Thank you"

* Bela P.O.V * back at the house *

"NICOLE WHERE ARE YOU GOING!" Nicole's mom screamed at Nicole ran outbid the house and into her truck I knew right where she was going. When we were younger Nicole and I promised if something bad/sad/crazy/ or whatever was to happen that we would always go to the barn no matter what.

"She needs him." I said as I held back Nicole's mom it took her a minute but she knew where she was going she was going...

She was going to see shaggy.
