The life of Nicole

Flight and landing.

Hey guys how's it going I don't know what to out for the authors note so umm yeah enjoy.

The guys had put my bags in the back of Ian's truck and my carry on in the back where is be sitting. For the three hour car ride to the airport.

I gave my mama one more hug and kiss goodbye along with my dad.

My mom handed me a book shaped thing wrapped in wrapping paper.

"Open it before you go." She told me

I opened the gift to find a book of some sort I looked at my mom in confusion. I opened the book and looked at the pages each one was different I knew what it was it was full if my moms recipes each page being a different one.

"I figured if you had guess over or something you could make a good meal." She said with a warm smile.

"Yeah cause toast and cereal wont work." Ian joked I turned and smacked him upside the head.

"You ain't any better." I said with Michael agreeing with me, I smirked.

"We'll you best be going." My mom said. I gave her and dad one last hug and kiss good bye before getting in the truck.

I looked out the back window as we drove away. I saw a tear roll down my moms cheek as my dad held her close to his side. I think it all sent in as I wasn't going to see them for two years.

I laid my head down and soon fell asleep. I was awoken by Michael running my shoulder to get me to wake up I did and we walked into the airport. And waited for my flight to be called. We waited a good thirty minuets before my flight was called.

"Flight 346 is now ready to be boarded." The lady called over the speaker. I got up and pulled my bags with me as I said good bye to the boys one last time.

"Remember to text us and call and Skype when you can okay." Michael said sounding like my mom

"Yes mom." I said laughing

"Sorry I just worry my little Paige is growing up and leaving me." He said as we had a group hug.

"I must go or ill miss it."no said an waved one more time before I left the boys I grew up with behind for my dream. Shaggy was on a separate part of the plane for animals. I don't want to know how much that had to of cost the collage was paying for our flight and any thing we need. I had the money everyone raised for me in my carry on along with the book my mom gave me. And a few other things like my phone, iPod, a camera and a book to read. I got in my seat and put my headphone in I took the window seat I put the left ear phone in. Not long after a older man in his seventies took the seat beside me.

"Is this seat taken miss?" He asked

"No not at all sir." I said as he took the seat beside me.

A few moments of silents the man begun to talk.

"I'm Steve" he stuck his hand out for me to shake. I did.

"I'm Nicole." I replied with a smile.

"Are you traveling by yourself?" His asked sounding a little concerned.

"Yeah I'm but I'm not at the same time."

He looked alittle confused by my answer. But I didn't mind being asked questions and I enjoyed the company for the long flight.

"What do you mean?" He asked

"I got offered a scholarship for equestrian studies in Ireland, and my horse is with me we will be competing and learning new things together."

"That is amazing Nicole I'm happy for you congrats." He had the biggest smile on his face.

"Thanks." I said and before you know it the flight was over I guess time flies when you have fun. Haha literally get it cause we're on a plane never mind....

"Well I must be going it was nice talking to you Nicole and I wish you the best of luck in yours and your horses' career."

"Thank you for keeping me company and actually listening. Have a good day sir."

And with that the old man was gone I grabbed me carryon and my bags. The collage told me there would be a trailer as a truck to pick me up. I saw it soon. I walked over and a young gentleman helped me with me bags.

"You must be Nicole I'm Peter." He stuck his hand out for me to shake. I did

"Should I go get shaggy?" I asked pointing back to the airport.

"He's being looked over by our vet to be sure he made the trip alright. They'll bring him out when he's looked over."

I nodded my head Peter asked how my flight was and things. I yawned cause I'm not used to the time difference yet. Next thing I know I hear hoof beats on the pavement and I see shaggy in his traveling boots and sheet he has his head relaxed while the groom I was guessing led him to us and the vet in the other side if him. I walked up to him and the groom gave me his lead. I wrapped him in a hug I have him a peppermint I had in my pocket and led him to the trailer where Peter was. We had him in the trailer and we headed to the stable where shaggy would be kept. The vets name was Kelly and the groom was Will.

We arrived at the stable and let me tell you oh my god it's amazing.
