Hunter's P.O.V:
I look up at the stars and sigh. She doesn't know, she never will. I remember it clearly, the day Mia left, four years ago
Flashback
The Day Before Mia's Graduation
"Come on, H!" Mia whines.
"Hold on, I'm almost done" I reply.
"You said that five minutes ago!" She shouts.
"Oh"
"Mhm" she mumbles and sighs. "Hey, H?"
"Yeah?"
"So, uh, if I ever leave-"
"WHAT!" I shout cutting her off.
"No,no,no" she adds in quickly, "I said if I ever leave" she emphasizes.
"Which is never" I snap.
"If I ever leave" she continues, ignoring me "will you forget about me?"
I sigh "I don't think I ever will"
She pauses," Forget about me"
I unlock the bathroom door and stick my head out "I can't," I pause "I don't think I can"
"You will" she says standing up "I'm going to go to sleep"
I hum in response.

"Hello?" I ask while placing the phone on my right ear."Hello? Is this Ms.Valentine?" a voice asks on the other end.
"Yes, this is her" I retort, furrowing my eyebrows.
"I am very sorry, but, your friend Mia Young"
My heart almost stops.
" got into an accident,"
My hands shake. The phone drops.
"Hello?"
Everything turns black in a second, the only thing I can here was the faint sound of my name being called. I couldn't think. The only thing on my mind right now is Mia. My bestfriend. The only person I've ever looked up to. Gone.
**********
She might be alive, right? She might be gone. I haven't called to check up on her, I'm just scared. I turn my attention back to the stars."Mia Young?" I whisper and pause. "Where are you now?"
