Third P.O.V:
Hunter knew Jessie looked familiar, but she didn't question it.
It all started seven years ago.
"What's your name?" she asks, her voice soft, waiting for an answer from the raven haired girl who shyly looks at the ground.
"Hunter" the little girl replies, her voice barely above a whisper. She looks up at the blonde, and asks "What's yours?"
"Jade" replies the blonde with big blue eyes.
"That's a nice name," she pauses "I like it"
"Hunter is a nice name, too" retorts the blonde, "It suits you"
"Thanks" replies Hunter, looking back down at the ground.
"You don't talk much, do you?" Jade asks.
Hunter's cheeks turn into a bright shade of red. "Yeah"
"You're cheeks are turning pink" Jade grins as she pokes Hunter's cheeks. Jade gasps and says, "Are you blushing?" she teases.
"I'm not!" Hunter giggles.
"Yes you are!" she starts tickling the older girl.
"No!" Hunter falls on the bright green grass and laughs uncontrollably.
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"No!"
"Ye- Wait no!" Hunter knew that Jade was trying to trick her using reverse psychology.
"Oh man!" Jade huffs, falls in defeat, and giggles.
Ever since that day, they were inseparable, but something happened and broke them apart.
Three Years Later
"Mom, can I go over to Hunter's?" Jade asks her mother, who's typing something on her phone.
"No"
"But why?"
"I said no, and that's it, period"
Jade huffs and rushes up the stairs. She unlocks her bedroom door, and opens the window so she could talk with Hunter, who's house is adjacent to hers.
Her eyes widen at the scene in front of her.
Fire.
